1 The Federal Department of Finance (DFF) is endeavor to pursue a budgetary policy aimed at maintaining and strengthening Switzerland's international competitiveness in the long term, guided by the principles of efficiency, effectiveness, and efficiency. Equity and proximity to the citizen.

2 Objectives set out in s. 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21 and 25 guide the DFF's administrative units in carrying out the tasks and exercising the powers set out in the federal legislation.

This order shall enter into force on 1 Er March 2010.
