§ 1

(1) The Bundessiegel is set in the form and size of the presented picture board.(2) The large Bundessiegel shows the Federal Adler without transcript, surrounded by a wreaer; the small federal seal the Federal Adler with a transcript of the seal-leading authority. Non-official table of contents

§ 2

(1) The grand Bundessiegel is the Federal President, the Federal Chancellor, the Federal Ministers and the Federal Government. Court of Auditors of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as of the President, the Central Bank Council and the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank; it is held at ceremonial assessments, especially in the case of the creation of laws and regulations, as well as in the case of Best Allings applied.(2) The President of the Bundestag and the President of the Federal Council may also serve the grand Bundessiegel.(3) The Federal Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court of the Federal Supreme Court and the upper Federal Courts shall use the grand Bundessiegel for the preparation of judgments and decisions. § 3

(1) Otherwise, all federal authorities execute the small Bundessiegel; the same shall apply to the Deutsche Bundesbank and their official records.(2) The Federal Minister of the Interior may permit the application of the Federal Adler in its official seals if there is a special occasion, bodies under public law which are subject to the supervision of federal authorities. § 4

The federal authorities may only use the service seals of deviant size or shape for special purposes and only with Approval of the Federal Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany. Non-official table of contents

§ 5
