Common provisions article 1 State recognition of training occupations (1) will be in accordance with § 25 of the trade and crafts code for an education in the No. 1 bricklayer and concrete workers, no. 3, no. 5 road builders, no. 6 heat -, cold - and sound insulation stripper, no. 7 fountain Bauer, no. 9 stucco workers of the plant of the craft regulations, no. 1 tile, plate and Mosaicists, no. 3 screed laying the Appendix B section 1 of the trade and crafts code as well as in accordance with § 25 of the vocational training Act following occupations State-recognized : 1 training: a) building construction trades/high construction worker, b) construction trades/construction trade worker, c) civil engineering technician/civil engineering technical worker;
2. on the building construction trades / apprenticeships based on the high construction worker: a) Masons/mechanic, b)
Concrete and steel concrete workers/concrete - and steel Betonbauerin and c) furnace and chimney builders/furnace and chimney Builder;
3. on the construction skilled workers / occupations based on the trade worker of expansion of: a) room/Carpenter, b) plasterer/Stukkateurin, c) tile, plate and Mosaicists/tiles-, slabs and mosaic Legerin, d) screed Leger/screed Legerin, e) heat, cold and noise insulator/heat-, cold - and sound insulation Isoliererin;
4. on the civil engineering technician / occupations based on the civil engineering specialist worker: a) Engineer/road Builder, b) Fountain farmer/Brunnenbauerin.
(2) in accordance with § 25 of the vocational training Act also in the industry state-recognised: 1. on the building construction trades / based on the high construction worker apprenticeship building mechanic for demolition and concrete cutting equipment/building mechanic for demolition and concrete cutting equipment;
2. the construction skilled workers / based on the trade worker of expansion of apprenticeship dry construction fitter/dry construction mechanic;
3. on the civil engineering technician / occupations based on the civil engineering specialist worker: a) pipe Bauer/pipeline Builder, b) channel Bauer/Kanalbauerin, c) special study/special Tiefbauerin, d) track builders/Gleisbauerin.

§ 2 training period (1) the levels of training in the construction industry takes a total of 36 months.
(2) training in the first stage the training occupations construction trades/high construction worker, construction trades/construction trade worker or civil engineering technician/civil engineering technical worker lasts 24 months. In the occupations of second level based on, training lasts for 12 months.
(3) trainees, visit a school basic vocational education year introduced in accordance with national regulations of a regulation in accordance with § 29 par. 1 of the vocational training act or in accordance with § 27a, paragraph 1, of the trade and crafts code as the first year of vocational training into account is begin operational training in the second year of training.

b) into the focus of concrete and reinforced concrete work: aa) manufacture of concrete, concrete strength classes, bb) cc processing, handling post and test of concrete,) formwork for columns, walls, ceilings and straight stairs including ports, dd) reinforcement, parts, ee) construction types for straight stairs and part mounting ceiling, ff) devices and machines for the processing of concrete;
c) in the priority interval and chimney construction work: aa) mortars as well as refractory and insulating plaster, bb) masonry of combustion and exhaust systems, cc) exhaust systems and chimneys;
2. in the audit field structures in building construction: a) construction and construction materials as well as finished parts, b) work, protection and Falsework, c) formwork, Rebar, components made of concrete and reinforced concrete, d) building stone, e) chimneys and flues, f) sealing against moisture and water not under pressure, g) heat -, cold -, sound - and fire protection, h) adjacent work in the expansion: components from wood, plasters, screeds, i) adjacent works in civil engineering : Shoring excavation pits and ditches, and open drainage, plaster ceiling and concrete slabs put, supply and disposal pipes.
3. in the audit area of economic and social studies: general economic and social contexts of professional and working world.
(4) the written part of the exam lasts no more than: 1. in the audit area of focus-related tasks 100 minutes, 2nd in the testing field structures in the construction of 100 minutes, 3rd in the testing area of economic and social studies 40 minutes.
(5) the written part of the examination is to complement, if this can be decisive for the existence of testing at the request of the DUT or discretion of the Audit Committee in individual areas by an oral examination. In determining the result for the verbally approved testing areas are to weight the previous result and the result of the oral exam in a ratio of 2:1.
(6) within the written part of the exam, the exam areas are as follows to weight: 1 inspection area focus-related tasks 40 per cent, 2. test range structures in the construction of 40 per cent, 3. audit scope of economic and social studies 20 per cent.

(5) includes the ratio of vocational training training for the first and second stage pursuant to section 1 para 1 No. 1 letter b and no. 3 or paragraph 2 No. 2, so the midterm exam at the end of the second year of training will be held.
(6) the substantive requirements of the intermediate examination under paragraph 5 arise from § 16 par. 1 to 4.

§ 16 final examination (1) the audit extends on the knowledge and skills listed in Appendix 2, as well as on the curriculum taught in the vocational school, as far as it is essential for the training.
(2) the candidate will perform in the practical part of the exam in no more than eight hours a practical task. 3. in a focus on tile, plates and mosaics: a) fixing floor tiles or plates in the thick-bed method including preparation of the substrate and attaching base tiles, b) attaching wall tiles or plates in the thick-bed method including injection grout, grouting, or c) making of wall tiles and floor tiles in the thin-bed method and Grouting fixing;
4. in the priority area of screed work: a) establish a compensation stroke with different inclinations, b) manufacture a composite screed with chamfer or wall connection from concrete or c) laying a floor covering from railways or plates;
5. in the focus of heat, cold and noise insulation works: attaching insulation on piping as well as manufacture and assemble a sheath with two settlements;

(5) the written part of the examination is to complement, if this can be decisive for the existence of testing at the request of the DUT or discretion of the Audit Committee in individual areas by an oral examination. 2nd in the testing area earthworks and drainage: a) hazards and safety measures in construction pits and trenches, b) soil types and soil classes, c) manufacture of Earth structures, d) devices and machines, e) shoring of excavations and trenches, f) water retention, g) open and closed drainage, h) surface drainage in transverse and longitudinal tilt, i) installing and compaction of soils;
3. in the audit area of economic and social studies: general economic and social contexts of professional and working world.
(4) the written part of the examination will take at most: 1 in the test range road 180 minutes, 2nd in the testing area of earth-moving and drainage 120 minutes, 3rd in the testing area of economic and social studies 60 minutes.
(5) the written part of the examination is to complement, if this can be decisive for the existence of testing at the request of the DUT or discretion of the Audit Committee in individual areas by an oral examination. In determining the result for the verbally approved testing areas are to weight the previous result and the result of the oral exam in a ratio of 2:1.
(6) within the written part of the exam, the exam areas are as follows to weight: 1 inspection area road construction 50 per cent, 2. examination area earthworks and drainage 30 per cent, 3. test area of economic and social studies 20 per cent.
(7) the examination is considered passed if each in the practical and the written part of the examination within the written part of the examination in at least two areas of examination at least satisfactory services are rendered. Is the power in one of the test areas with insufficiently evaluated, so the exam is not passed.
(8) the examinee failed the test under paragraph 7, meets the requirements pursuant to § 22 in this test but, as he has reached the conclusion of civil engineering technician/civil engineering technical worker. 11 section pipe Bauer/pipeline Builder section 73 training profession at least the following skills and knowledge are the subject of the vocational training: 1. vocational education and training, work and collective bargaining law, 2. construction and organization of the training company, 3. safety and health protection at work, 4. environmental protection, 5. order acceptance, service entry, work plan and schedule, 6 setting up, securing and spaces by construction sites, 7 manufacture of manholes, 8 manufacture of excavation pits and trenches, shoring and water retention , 9 manufacture of transport routes, 10 construction of penstocks, 11 renovation and repairing of penstocks, 12 quality assurance measures and reporting.

§ 74 training curriculum the knowledge and skills referred to in section 73 shall according to the included instructions for the factual and temporal structure of vocational training (training curriculum) to be taught in the annex 14. A deviating from the training curriculum factual and temporal structure of the training content is specifically allowed, as far as practical operating characteristics require the deviation.

§ 75 training plan the training employer has to draw up a training plan on the basis of the education masterplan for the trainees.

§ 76 report issue the trainee has to do a report portfolio in the form of a training certificate. He is to give opportunity to lead the record book during the training period. The trainers has regularly look through the record book.

These measures for the safety and health protection at work, environmental protection and quality assurance measures should be included. Tasks in particular from the following areas considered are: 1 verification relating to pipeline construction: a) tube of different materials, b) pressure piping and laterals, c) renovation and repairing of penstocks, d) shaft buildings, e) sealing buildings against moisture and water.
2nd in the testing field excavation and drainage: a) hazards and safety measures in construction pits and trenches, b) soil types and soil classes, c) shoring of excavations and trenches, d) water retention, e) open and closed construction, f) installing and compaction of soils, g) adjacent work: manufacture of plaster ceilings, Plattenbelägen and asphalt pavements;
3. in the audit area of economic and social studies: general economic and social contexts of professional and working world.
(4) the written part of the exam lasts no more than: 1. in testing piping 180 minutes, 2nd in the testing field excavation and dewatering 120 minutes, 3rd in the testing area of economic and social studies 60 minutes.

§ 94 training curriculum the knowledge and skills referred to in article 93 shall according to the included instructions for the factual and temporal structure of vocational training (training curriculum) to be taught in the plant 18. A deviating from the training curriculum factual and temporal structure of the training content is specifically allowed, as far as practical operating characteristics require the deviation.

Section 95 training plan the training employer has to draw up a training plan on the basis of the education masterplan for the trainees.

In the test fields of construction and maintenance of tracks, as well as construction and maintenance of turnouts, the candidate shall demonstrate that he can solve practical cases in particular through linking work-organizational, technological, mathematical and graphic content. These measures for the safety and health protection at work, environmental protection and quality assurance measures should be included. Tasks in particular from the following areas to consider are: 1 in test construction and maintenance of tracks: a) construction and operating regulations, b) superstructure, c) slab track, d) level crossings, e) forces in the track, f) welding, g) track accounts, h) track marking;
2. in the test field construction and maintenance of turnouts: a) construction and operating regulations, b) superstructure, c) construction of turnouts, d) marking of turnouts, e) maintenance of turnouts;
3. in the audit area of economic and social studies: general economic and social contexts of professional and working world.
(4) the written part of the examination will take at most: 1 in test construction and maintenance of tracks 150 minutes, 2nd in the testing sector construction and maintenance of soft 150 minutes, 3rd in the testing area economic and social studies 60 minutes.
(5) the written part of the examination is to complement, if this can be decisive for the existence of testing at the request of the DUT or discretion of the Audit Committee in individual areas by an oral examination. In determining the result for the verbally approved testing areas are to weight the previous result and the result of the oral exam in a ratio of 2:1.
(6) within the written part of the exam, the exam areas are as follows to weight: 1 test range construction and maintenance of tracks 40 per cent, 2. test range construction and maintenance of soft 40 per cent, 3.
Test area of economic and social studies 20 per cent.
(7) the examination is considered passed if each in the practical and the written part of the examination within the written part of the examination in at least two areas of examination at least satisfactory services are rendered. Is the power in one of the practical tasks or in one of the test areas with insufficiently evaluated, so the exam is not passed.
(8) the examinee failed the test under paragraph 7, meets the requirements pursuant to § 22 in this test but, as he has reached the conclusion of civil engineering technician/civil engineering technical worker. The requirements pursuant to § 22 shall be deemed met if in this examination of the practical part, as well as in the specialized audit areas on the written exam (paragraph 3 Nos. 1 and 2) provided at least satisfactory performance. Also a poor performance may be provided in any of the practical tasks and in any of the specialized audit areas.
Part four transitional and final provisions article 98 transitional vocational training relationships that exist in the entry into force of this regulation, continue to apply the existing regulations, unless unless the Contracting Parties agree on the application of the provisions of this regulation.

§ 99 entry into force, expiry this regulation enters into force on 1 August 1999.
