On the basis of § 1 (2) of the International Maintenance Law of 19. December 1986 (BGBl. 2563), it is announced that reciprocity within the meaning of this Act is now also proportional to the US State
vouches is. In addition, it is made known that in relation to the US state
reciprocity is no longer limited to child support (BGBl. 1989 I p. 372), but now also exists for the maintenance of a spouse.
In this way, reciprocity in the sense of the foreign maintenance law as a whole is guaranteed in relation to the following states:
- in the United States of America in relation to
|Minnesota,|| Wisconsin and to|
- in Canada in relation to
|British Columbia, Manitoba, Neubraunschweig, Newfoundland including Labrador,||Ontario, the Prince Eduard Island, Saskatchewan and the Yukon Territory;|
- in relation to South Africa.
This notice is subsequent to the notice of 7. October 1991 (BGBl. I p. 2000).
