Whereby the life and work of three great poets exalts Afro-Colombians and other provisions.
CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA DECREES
ARTICLE 1o. The Republic of Colombia pays tribute of admiration and exalts the life and work of the great and distinguished poets, Afro-Colombian Jorge Artel, Miguel A. Caicedo and Martan Helcias Góngora, for his contribution to Colombian literature, highlights his poetic works and places as examples to present and future generations, their lives of large servers and bastions of Afro-Colombian communities.
. As a tribute to the memory and work of Jorge Artel, the nation will build in the municipality of Cartagena a monument to his memory.
ARTICLE 3. As perennial memory and works of Jorge Artel tribute, the Nation built in the municipality of Tado and Quibdo, paths statues of the great poet, which will be entrusted to two Colombian sculptors, based on merit competition that opens the Colombian Institute Culture or his substitute, for this purpose.
ARTICLE 4. As a tribute to the memory and work of Martan Helcias Góngora, the Nation built in the municipality of Guapí a statue of the great poet.
The 5th ITEM. The National Government will publish the complete works of the great and distinguished poets Afro-Colombian Jorge Artel, Miguel A. Caicedo and Martan Helcias Góngora, in a print run of not less than ten thousand copies.
ARTICLE 6o. As perennial colonization of the Pacific, conducted by Afro-Colombian communities tribute, the nation, built in the municipality of Buenaventura, the monument to it.
ARTICLE 7. The government appropriated the necessary to carry out the works under this Act items.
Article 8. This Act governs from the date of its enactment.
