By means of which the Nation is linked to the celebration of the Golden Weddings of the foundation of the Universidad Colegio Mayor of Cundinamarca.

THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA,

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. Associate with the work of the Golden Weddings of the Universidad Colegio Mayor of Cundinamarca, founded in 1945.

ARTICLE 2o. Recognize and exalt the University for the valuable and meaningful scientific, humanistic and social training of professionals who perform their work with efficiency and ethical sense, at the service of the country.

ARTICLE 3o. Propose as an example of the institutions of higher education, the Universidad Colegio Mayor of Cundinamarca for its outstanding research, teaching, administrative and extension activities.

ARTICLE 4. To order the National Government to be linked to the 50 years of the University, by appropriating the necessary departure to finance the following investment projects and other projects. executorships:

1. Renovation of equipment for the health service that serves the university community and several neighborhoods in the surrounding area.

2. Repair and expansion of the physical plant at its current headquarters, which will be permanent.

3. Expansion and endowment of the University Library, including new bibliographic publications, advanced and state-of-the-art computer reprographics.

4. Provision of modern equipment for the clinical and bacteriology laboratory.

ARTICLE 5o. The government will allocate a sum of no less than one billion pesos ($1,000) in the general budget for the implementation of this Law.

ARTICLE 6o. This Law governs from the date of its publication.
