By means of which the Nation is associated with the celebration of the bicentennial of the foundation of the Municipality of Bolivar in the department of Cauca and other provisions are dictated.

THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA,

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. The Colombian Nation is associated with the celebration of the Bicentennial of the foundation of the Municipality of Bolivar in the department of Cauca, which occurred on June 10, 1794, and pays tribute to the memory of its founder Father Domingo Belisario Gómez, and the creative capacity and the spirit of overcoming its inhabitants are exalted.

ARTICLE 2o. As of the validity of this Law and in accordance with the provisions of Articles 365, 366 of the National Constitution, in harmony with Article 200, number 3o. and Article 150 numeral 3o. and 9o. of the same Charter, authorize the National Government to assign, within the National Budget of the 1997 and 1998 vigencies, the sums necessary to carry out the following works of social interest for the Municipality of Bolivar, in the department of Cauca.

1o. Education.

-Co-financing for the construction of the Agricultural College of Guachicon $51,000,000.

-Cofinancing for the construction of the Jose Dolores Farm College $51,000,000, Corregimiento the Miracles.

-Co-financing for the reconstruction of the Santa Catalina Laboure Normal, $20,000,000.

-Co-financing for the construction of the Physical Plant of the National College Marco Fidel Suarez, in the municipal header, $50,000,000.

2. Electrification.

-Co-financing of electrification works in the rural area of the municipality $200,000,000.

3. Road network.

-Cofinancing project construction via Paraiso-La Guayana, $80,000,000.

-Co-financing construction via Carbonera-La Monja-Butuyaco, $80,000,000.

-Co-financing construction via San Lorenzo-Puente-La Victoria $70,000,000.

-Co-financing construction via Guadual-Melchor, $100,000,000.

-Co-financing improvement and expansion via La Parada -La Juntas, $40,000,000.

-Co-financing construction via Rosal -Cimarrones-San Juan-The Miracles-Las Cruces, $120,000,000.

4. Culverts.

-Co-financing of the municipal capital's sewer replacement and extension project $600,000,000.

5. Aqueducts.

-Co-financing project to build the Interveredal Aqueduct La Carbonera $150,000,000.

-Co-financing project for the construction of an interveredal Vereda Melchor $50,000,000.

-Co-financing project construction aqueduct the Potreros, $90,000,000.

-Co-financing project construction aqueduct Buensighted-Guachicon, $81,000,000.

-Cofinancing project construction aqueduct Cerro Alto-Cerrored Chupadero, $300,000,000.

-Cofinancing project construction aqueduct Villanueva-Carbonero-Ortijo-Drums, $190,000,000.

ARTICLE 3o. Authorize the National Government to carry out the budgetary operations and conclude the contracts necessary for the implementation of this law.

ARTICLE 4. This law governs from the date of its sanction and enactment.
