Whereby the National Day of the Elderly People and Pensioners set
THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA DECREES
:
ARTICLE 1o. Establécese the National Day of the Elderly People and Pensioners, which will be held on the last Sunday of August each year.
PARÁGRAFO. The governors and mayors, within their respective jurisdictions, take appropriate measures for the celebration of the National Day of People for the Elderly and Pensioner according to the importance and dignity administrative measures that the annuitant and people elderly they deserve.
Article 2.
. The national government, departmental entities, municipal, district and other state institutions, condecorarán people seniors and pensioners who have distinguished themselves by developing activities for its members in the field of health, housing, recreation and general programs that benefit this sector.

ARTICLE 3. The National Government shall regulate this Law in accordance with the general provisions laid down in it and complementary have been issued.
