By which the Nation is associated with the celebration of ninety (90) years of the Foundation Central Technical Institute.
CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA DECREES
:
ARTICLE 1o. The Nation is associated with the celebration of ninety (90) years of foundation of the Central Technical Institute for this purpose pays public tribute of recognition to its Directors, Teachers, Students and Founders; as well as parents; their benefactors and generally those who have contributed to its development, strengthening and fulfill its purpose in the social and educational.
Extol the occasion of this anniversary the noble mission accomplish this important educational center highlighting it as an example to imitate, through comprehensive education and training provided to our youth thus contributing effectively to build and consolidate a promising future for the new generations of Bogota and the country.
Article 2.
. Due to the facilities occupied by the Central Technical Institute have been declared a National Monument by the historical and architectural value to the country have and considered the natural decay today presented by the lack of investment in conservation, authorizing the Government to adopt national measures that will implement the public works project called "Restoration and remodeling of the south building, courtyard 2, first and second floor of the Central-Bogotá Technical Institute".
Project which is identified under the Code BPIN 0020-05271-0000, declared feasible by the Bank of Projects of the Ministry of Education and whose proceedings conducted by the National Planning Department, with projection for its implementation from the fiscal year 1996. For this purpose, they may make budgetary transfers or additions that are necessary.

ARTICLE 3. In order to help strengthen the coverage of training in science and technology to provide better job opportunities to the youth of the country, it can be promoted by the national government opening new technological careers in the Central Technical Institute and even, establish new sectional in other cities provided the interested territorial entity contributes to financing the project.
