For which the Nation is associated with the celebration of the ninety (90) years of the Foundation of the Central Technical Institute.

THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA,

DECRETA:

ARTICLE 1o. The Nation is associated with the celebration of the ninety (90) years of founding of the Central Technical Institute, for this purpose it pays tribute to its Directors, Teachers, Alumni and Founders; as well as parents; their benefactors and in general, those who have contributed to their development, strengthening and the fulfillment of their object in the social and educational order.

Enaltecen on the occasion of this effort of the noble mission that fulfills this important educational center, highlighting it as an example, to imitate, for the education and integral formation that imparts our youth with which it contributes effectively to to build and consolidate a promising future for the new generations of Santafe in Bogota and the country.

ARTICLE 2o. In view of the fact that the facilities occupied by the Central Technical Institute have been declared a National Monument for the historical and architectural value that the country has and considered the The natural deterioration they present today due to the lack of investment in their conservation, is authorized to the National Government to adopt the measures that will allow to implement the project of public works called: " Restoration and remodeling of the building south zone, patio 2, first and second floor, of the Central Technical Institute-Bogotá ".

Project that is identified under the BPIN Code 0020-05271-0000, declared viable by the Project Bank of the Ministry of National Education and whose processing advances the National Department of Planning, with projection for its realization of the tax term of 1996. To this end, the necessary transfers or budgetary additions may be made.

ARTICLE 3o. In order to contribute to strengthening training coverage in science and technology to provide better job opportunities for the country's youth, it will be able to promote National Government the opening of new technological careers in the Central Technical Institute and even, establishing new sectionals in other cities whenever the interested territorial entity contributes to the co-financing of the project.

ARTICLE 4. Transcribase by Secretariat to the Directives of the Central Technical Institute, in the letter of style, copy of this law once its corresponding procedure is submitted.

ARTICLE 5o. This Law governs from its publication.
