Whereby Law 14 of 1975 which regulates the profession of builder in amending Homeland .
THE CONGRESS OF COLOMBIA DECREES:
ARTICLE 1o. The studies being carried out in technical schools to train builders may be cursados within the modalities of Distance Education established by the National Government. In this case the practice of dealing with the literal a) of Article 3., Of Law 14 of 1975 will be four years.
People without advance the studies referred to in paragraph 1o. literal a) of Article 3. Act 14 of 1975, they may also get certified to practice Technical Builder if to date have exercised for a period not less than ten years, proven by certificates issued by engineers or architects duly qualified and registered. To this effect within three years is established after the enactment of this Act, the requirements to be accredited.
. The National Technical Committee will Builders advisory body to the National Government in all matters relating to the profession of builder, especially with regard to the exercise of the same for the country's development.
ARTICLE 3. Technical Builders holding the certificate that accredits them as such, may enroll in government entities, decentralized semiofficial, industrial and commercial state enterprises and mixed economy, as well as private and / or private companies may participate in the private public works contracts, according to the classification and rating their part in the respective records and provided the work in question, is properly designed and calculated by architects or certified engineers and registered and that the respective sheets is envisaged that the execution will be supervised by an auditor, likewise Architects or Engineers.
ARTICLE 4. Public funds referred to Article 16 of Law 14 of 1975, will be included through the budget for the Ministry of Education or through the entity designated by the national government.
The 5th ITEM. This law governs from the date of its enactment and repeal all provisions that are contrary.
