DIRECTIVE on strengthening teaching, training and the application of information technology in education 2001-2005 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ new achievements of science and technology in the second half of the 20th century are doing to change the form and content of economic activities, social and culture of mankind. Implementation of Directive No. 58-CT/TW of the Politburo and decision No. 81/2001/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, the Minister of education and training requires the level of management, educational establishments and training to implement the following tasks: 1. To raise awareness about the role of information technology : 1.1. The Organization holds the content, the spirit of Directive No. 58-CT/TW of the Politburo and decision No. 81/2001/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, to raise awareness about the role of information technology in the process of industrialization and modernization of the country, well aware of the important role of information technology in education development in the 21st century. Development and application of information technology in education and training would create a fundamental step forward in the process of renewing the content, programs, methods of teaching, learning and management education.
1.2. Aware of the task of developing the human resources information technology and information technology applications in education and training is the important task of deciding significance to the development of information technology in the country. Need to find measures to promote the application of information technology in the work and expertise of its management, to promote the training and fostering knowledge about information technology for students, staff, and students, enhancing the quality of training a team of information technology specialists to meet the demand in the domestic and foreign market part.

3. Perform the tasks the focus: 3.1. 3.3. building local networks, Internet connection, construction education network (EduNet), applications in education management, improve the quality of training, deployment of remote training form: a) for universities, colleges and professional high school actively build internal networks, build internal network operating Center and connect to the Internet. 4. Implementation: 4.1. The implementing Directive No. 58/CT-TW and decision No. 81/2001/QD-TTg is a very important task. The level of management education, the training institution in the whole industry is very active, effort, creativity to create a meaningful step forward in the first years of the new decade, contribute to the goals of industrial development information service industrialization modernization of the country.
