Proposal of the Director of the Organization Department, DECIDES: 1. The position and function of agricultural and Forestry Bureau and the salt is the Agency directly under the Ministry of agriculture and rural development, implement state management functions of specialized preservation, processing agricultural forestry and salt range in the country.
The Bureau of agriculture and forestry products processing and salt has a legal personality, a seal, the funding of activities, open the account in accordance with the law.
The headquarters of the Department of agriculture and forestry products processing and salt placed in the city of Hanoi.
Article 2. e) proposals, evaluation of investment projects in the scope of management of the Department as assigned by the Minister;

h) manage the work quality of materials, equipment and technology in the scope of management of the Department;
I) organizations make the registration, inspection and certification of the equipment require strict labor safety in the scope of management of the Department and in accordance with the law.

b) uniform management of the application of new technology in preserving, processing agricultural products, forestry products, salt according to the provisions of the law;

d) organized the collection and management of scientific and technological information in the scope of management of the Department;

8. Build the program, international cooperation projects in the scope of management of the Department; join negotiations to sign, joining international treaties, international organizations concerned; implementation of international treaties, international cooperation projects as assigned by the Minister.

11. active participation in the management of the Association, non-governmental organizations in the scope of specialization of the Department as assigned by the Minister.
12. Inspection, testing; complaints, accusations; against corruption, negative; handling of the breach in the scope of management of the Department according to the authority.
13. Formulate and implement administrative reform programs of the Department according to the aim and content of the program of the Ministry of administrative reform.
14. the permanent program of industrialization, agricultural modernization and rural as assigned by the Minister.
15. the organization management, Payroll Bureau, apparatus according to the provisions; implementation of salary mode and the mode of remuneration policies, reward, or discipline for public servants, officers in the scope of management of the Department. Article 4.
