The DECREE stipulates the functions, duties, powers and organizational structure of the GOVERNMENT government inspectors pursuant to the law on organization of the Government of 25 December 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/ND-CP dated 3 December 2007 of the Government functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of ministries, ministerial agencies;
Proposal of the Inspector General, the DECREE: article 1. The position and function of government inspectors is the Ministerial Agency of the Government, performing State management functions of inspection, complaints, accusations and corruption prevention.
Article 2. Duties and powers of the Government inspectors perform the duties and powers stipulated in Decree No. 178/2007/ND-CP dated 3 December 2007 of the Government functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of ministries, ministerial agencies and those duties, the following specific powers : 1. 5. About the inspection: a) the inspection of the implementation of the policy, laws, duties of ministries, ministerial agencies, government agencies, provincial people's Committee, the central cities (hereafter referred to as the provincial people's Committee); Ombudsman Service work related to state management responsibility of many ministries, ministerial-level agencies, provincial people's Committee;

Article 3. Article 5. The effect and enforcement responsibilities

2. Annuls the previous provisions contrary to this Decree.
