Criteria for determining foreign species to invade and enact

What? 1. The criteria for identifying the invasive species and exotic species are at risk of invasive

1. The invasive species responds to one of the following criteria:

a) Having established populations in the wild, which is crowing the habitat, competition for food and harm to indigenous organisms, has the ability to thrive; tend to or are causing loss of ecological balance where they appear in Vietnam;

b) Through the test, the test shows a possible invasion.

2. The foreign species is at risk of invasive:

a) A foreign species at risk of invasive occurrence in Vietnam meets one of the following criteria: not self-established in the wild, tends to overwhelm the habitat, compete for food, harm to the native species; or through the study, trial, investigation, assessment of the risk of invasion;

b) The foreign species at risk of unoccurrence in Vietnam meets the following criteria: the species has not been introduced to Vietnam; it has been noted to have been recorded from the two countries that have similar ecological conditions to Vietnam.

1. 1. This joint venture has been in effect since 26 November 2013.
