AUTHORIZES THE CANCELLATION OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR DEFICITS WITH CHARGE
TO THE SURPLUS OF THE YEAR 1959 AND ARE AUTHORIZED FOR ONE TIME
ITEMS WITH DESTINATIONS AS SET

The Senate and the CA of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, meeting in General Assembly,

DECREE:

ArtAculo 1Aº.-AutorAzase la cancelation de los dicificit edejes, con cargo al superA ¡ vit del Budget General de Salemas y Expenses del Exercise 1959. Exchange Differences Fund $3,607,083.28. Expense of Exercise 1959 and Anunts without charge $2.660.124.32. Total weights 6,267,207.60. Deficit of other Organisms: PLUNA pesos 607,741.96; OSE $7,375,668.46; AFE $1,197,219.28; ANP $3,963,990.90. Sub-total $13,144,620.60. Total $19,411,828.20. For the cancellation of the official industrial and commercial agencies, authorize the Executive to deliver titles of public debt whose issuance was arranged by the law NAº 12.691, of December 31, 1959-Internal National Debt, Series C-, corresponding to the Internal Debt of Consolidation 5% 1953/54, law NAº 12.276, of 10 February 1956, which will be computed by their value of trading at the time of delivery.

ArtAculo 2Aº.-The cancellation of the requirements of the public bodies, as provided for in the previous article, will be made up to the amounts established in the article, in accordance with the economic result that they produce the respective balance sheets, after having been approved by the competent authority, after obtaining the opinion of the Court of Auditors.

ArtAculo 3Aº.-AutorAzanse under the SuperA ¡ vit of Exercise 1959, after deducting the amounts shown in the article 1Aº of this law, the following items for one time: 1) For the Emergency Plan of Rural School Buildings, $7:000,000.00 2) Contribution to the Republic of Chile, $1,000,000.00 3) For headquarters of the General Inspectorate and General Staff of the Air Force, $500,000.00. 4) For capital formation in the Inter-American Development Bank 1Aª quota (foreign currency), $9,540,000.00. Total $18,40,000.00.

ArtAculo 4Aº.-The consignment intended for rural buildings shall be administered by a Special Commission composed of the Minister of Public Education, or its delegate, by the Ministry of Public Works, or its by the Minister of Finance, or by his delegate, and by the President of the National Council of Primary Education. The corresponding amount will be deposited in a special account in the Bank of the Republic, to the order of the Commission that is created by this law. This Commission is authorized to receive private donations for the purposes of this plan.
