TEXTILE COMPANIES


THE WORKING HOURS REGIME FOR COMPANIES INCLUDED IN GROUP 23 OF THE SALARY COUNCIL IS FIXED.


The Senate and the House of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, meeting in General Assembly,

DECREE:



Article 1 °.
Textiles (Group 23 of the Salaries Council), will work with a mandatory continuous schedule.
Companies will grant a minimum intermediate rest of half an hour, computable as effective work, so that there is no continuous period of work, greater than five hours.
The established regime may not apply to certain undertakings, if the majority of its staff so decides, in a vote that will be controlled by the National Institute of Labour and stakeholders.
Continuous timetable may not be applied to the Management and Administrative staff, attached to industrial plants.
