ELECTIONS


PROVISIONS ON THE SETTING OF THE OPERATING SCHEDULE OF THE RECEIVING COMMISSIONS ARE MODIFIED IN THE ELECTION.


LEGISLATIVE POWER


The Senate and the House of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, meeting in General Assembly,

DECREE:



Article 1 °.
Substitute Articles 53, 77, and 96 of Law No. 7,812, of 16 January 1925, as amended by Decree-Law N ° 10.254, of 17 October of 1942, for the following:

" Article 53. The Vote-receiving Commissions will begin to operate at the hour seven. The reception of votes will begin at the eight hour and will last until the nineteenth and thirties. "

" Article 77. In the case of the Receiving Commissions acting in the cities, only the electors included in the circuit corresponding to each of these Commissions may be eligible.

Except for this provision, the citizens who will be members of the Receiving Commissions, the members of the military custody and the party delegates, who will be able to vote before the Commission to act, in such a case to admit their votes with identity observation ".

" Article 96. At nineteen and thirty hours the reception of suffrages will end. However, if the Commission finds that there are still electors, whether or not they correspond to the circuit, that they would not be able to vote for a lack of time, the term will be extended to the effect that they will vote without the extension. can exceed one hour.
