NATIONAL FRIDGE
A PROVISION OF LAW 12.475 IS REPLACED AND NEW RULES ARE GIVEN FOR DIRECTORY INTEGRATION.
The Senate and the House of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, meeting in General Assembly,
DECREE:
Article 1 °. Substitute Article 13 of Law
12.475, dated December 17, 1957, by the following:
" Article 13. The National Refrigerator Directory will be integrated with five (5) designated members in the following form:
One, by the Executive Branch that will hold the Presidency;
One, by the Municipal Intrend of Montevideo;
Two, in direct election by the sending producers and by the shareholders;
One, elected by the staff of employees and workers dependent on the Institute. "
The representatives of the producers and shareholders and the employees and workers of the Institute will be elected, together with a double number of alternates.
The elections of the delegates of the producers and the dependent personnel, will be regulated and audited by the Electoral Court. The laws in force shall be governed by the applicable laws in those elections. The costs arising from this concept will be charged to the National Refrigerator.
Article 2 °. The two delegates of the submitters and shareholders shall be chosen by direct vote of the shareholders and the sending producers who have sold raw materials to the Agency during the 5 year period, returned from 31 December of the year preceding the year of the election of each new Directory.
To be entitled to the exercise of the vote, the sending producers must have provided the Institute during the period referred to in the preceding subparagraph, in one or more items, raw materials in such quantities that, in addition to the various categories, they total a minimum of 1,100 points, according to the following scale:
10 kilograms of pulses and/or fruits, 1 point.
1 egg drawer, 10 points.
1 bird, 2 points.
1 suino, 5 points.
1 lanar, 4 points.
1 beef, 20 points.
In order to be delegated to the producers in the National Refrigerator Directory, the quality of producer and voter is required.
The National Fridge will keep detailed and updated records of its suppliers of raw materials, which it will make available to the Electoral Court for its purposes.
