WORKERS OF THE COMPANY PAYLANA S.A.

UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE EXTENSION

The Senate and the CA of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, meeting in General Assembly,

DECREE:

ArtAculoA 1Aº. -A Facultation to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security to extend for reasons of general interest, for a period of up to one year, the special unemployment allowance of the former employees of the company Paylana S.A., in the terms and conditions established by the regulation.

ArtAculoA 2Aº. -A The extension of the unemployment benefit term granted under the powers granted in the previous article, will reach the workers who continue to enjoy the referred to or have exhausted the maximum coverage period (artAculosA 7Aº and 10 from Decree-Law No 15.180, dated August 20, 1981, in the wording given by the Law No. 18.399, dated October 24, 2008).

The extension of the term of the loan will begin to apply from the immediate month after the respective cessation of the allowance in all cases.

ArtAculoA 3Aº. -A Former Paylana workers, covered in the unemployment allowance governed by the Decree-Law No 15.180, of 20 August 1981, and amending, that they enter to work in the Paylana Workers ' Cooperative (COTRAPAY), will retain, at the time or suspension of the employment relationship, the right to the subsidy for unemployment up to the maximum limit laid down in these rules and in this law, even if it has not been twelve months since they received the last loan.

ArtAculoA 4Aº.-The amount of the subsidy to be settled for the workers referred to in the article 3Aº of this law shall not be higher than that set out in the article 7.2) of the Decree-Law No 15.180, dated August 20, 1981, in the wording given by the article 1Aº of the Law No. 18.399, ofOctober 2008.-.
