This Act defines general legal, organizational, social and economic basis of activities in the field of physical culture and sports and regulate public relations in creating conditions for the development of physical culture and sports.
Article 1. Basic terms and definitions

Sports activities-activities carried out by the subjects of the field of physical culture and sports for the development of sports;
Sports events-sports competitions and/or training sessions;
sporting event-an event held by the sport event organizer to compare the achievements of athletes and determine winners in accordance with the rules of sports competitions and the approved organizer of sports events (a regulation) of these competitions, which corresponds to the designated central body of the executive branch, which ensures the formation of public policy in the field of physical culture and sports, requirements;

Article 2. Legislation of Ukraine on Physical Culture and Sport

Article 3. Rights of citizens in physical culture and sports
Citizens have the right to engage in physical culture and sports regardless of the traits of race, skin color, political, religious, and other beliefs, gender, ethnic and social origin, property status, place of residence, language or other features.
Free selection of sports and sports services;
Accessibility and safety of physical culture and sports;
Protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the citizens;
Creation of physical culture and sports institutions;
The union of citizens in the public organization of physical and sporting orientation;

Article 4. The principles of public policy in physical culture and sports
Public policy in the field of physical culture and sports is based on the basis:
Recognition of physical culture and sports as a priority area of the humanitarian policy of the state;
Recognition of physical culture as an important factor in the comprehensive development of personality and the formation of a healthy lifestyle;
Recognition of the sport as an important factor of achieving physical and spiritual excellence, the formation of patriotic sentiments in the citizens and the positive international image of the state;
Ensuring humanistic orientation and priorities of universal values, justice, mutual respect and gender equality;
Guaranteeing equal rights and opportunities of citizens in the field of physical culture and sports;
Ensuring the safety of life and health of persons engaged in physical culture and sports, participants and viewers of sports and fitness activities;
Promote continuity and the continuity of the physical culture and the sport of citizens of different age groups;
The adoption of ethical and moral values of physical culture and sports;
Creating conditions for social and legal protection of citizens in the fields of physical culture and sports;
To provide support for the public organizations of cultural and sporting orientation;
Ensuring diversity, high quality and availability of physical and cultural services for citizens;
providing conditions to support the areas of physical culture and sports;
Providing access to sports facilities for disabled persons;

Article 5. Public administration of physical culture and sports
Public administration of physical culture and sports is carried out by the central body of executive power, which ensures the formation of public policy in the sphere of physical culture and sports, the central body of executive power implementing state policy in the field of physical culture and sports, with the assistance of other governmental authorities and local governments.

Article 7. Status indicators for physical culture and sport

OBJECTS OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS

Article 10. Children's sports schools
Children's sports schools are non-school sports providers-establishments of physical culture and sports, which provide the development of the abilities of the students in selected edition of the sport recognized in Ukraine, creating the necessary conditions for the sport. A harmonious upbringing, physical development, full wellness, changing leisure and leisure of children and youth, self-realisation, acquiring the skills of a healthy lifestyle, training of athletes for the reserve sport.

Cultural and sports societies, other cultural and sporting activities;
enterprises, institutions, organizations of Ukraine and their association;

Article 13. Olympic Training Centres

Article 14. Centers for Student Sports of Higher Education

Article 15. Physical and cultural institutions

Article 16. Centers for Physical Health
The centers of physical health are the institutions of physical culture and sports that exercise activities through the involvement of various groups of the population, in particular socially unprotected, to the physical culture.
The centers of physical health are created and operate according to the status of the physical health center of the population approved by the central executive body, which ensures the formation of public policy in the sphere of physical culture and sport.

Article 17. Centers for Physical Culture and Sport of Disabled Persons

Article 18. Groups of Physical Culture
The groups of physical culture are public organizations of fiescultural and sporting cohesion that are created and functioning in enterprises, in institutions, with the aim of making fiscal and health activities for the place of the work of citizens. Such groups may be a part of the sports-cultural societies.
The groups of physical culture can exercise fiescultural activities through membership fees, the funds holder of the respective enterprises, institutions, organizations and/or funds of the union organization of appropriate enterprises, institutions, organizations received from the employer on the fiscal and health activities according to the legislation.
Article 19. Cultural and cultural societies
Fiescultural and sports societies are the public organizations of cultural and sporting orientation, the main tasks of which are:
Promote public policy on physical culture and sports;
To organize cultural and health activities, particularly for the work of the citizens;
ensuring the development of designated areas of sport.
