Republic of Turkey State Planning Organization and the Syrian Arab Republic
State Planning Commission Between the Memorandum of Understanding on mutual interests between
Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic Government as a result of cooperation based on economic between the development planning two countries, scientific and technical considering that it is an important tool to increase cooperation in order to strengthen relations between the two countries' mutual interests in mind planning units and maintain these relationships, the Republic of Turkey State planning Organization and the Syrian Arab Republic State planning Commission (hereinafter "parties to the Treaty" will be called.) the parties

Article 1
Agreement, the parties, by contributing to each country's planning department of development studies exchange of information, research and planning, agreed to cooperate in institutional capacity development.

Article 2 The parties to the agreement to cooperate in the following planning and training programs and expertise in both countries have agreed to take advantage as much as possible of the change.

Article 3 The parties to the Agreement on mutual interests, said the proposals recommended by the planning unit experts and technical advisers in planning and expertise has agreed to make reciprocal visits to the change.

Article 4 The parties to the Agreement, the indicator at national and regional level with regard to the effect of technological and economic environment of the two countries in international and regional economic development and planning changes agreed to focus on quality planning.

Article 5 of the Agreement the parties have agreed to develop and launch regional cooperation program between the two countries. The planning units of the two countries, said event programming, coordinating and monitoring as well as being responsible for the central authorities will be responsible for determining and implementing regional level units.
Either side execution and monitoring committees will be established. a joint executive program for cooperation between representatives of the said committee and a monitoring committee will be created.
Interregional rules and procedures for the implementation of cooperation programs will be established by the executive and the joint monitoring committee.
Both sides of the inter-regional cooperation program will share the financial burden. Article 6

costs related to the implementation of this memorandum of understanding will be paid in the following manner.
- Will cover the travel costs of the sender country.

This memorandum of understanding shall enter into force on the date of the governments of both countries with the fulfillment of the national requirements on entry into force for each other.
This memorandum of understanding will be valid for three years from the end of the reporting date and the validity of any of the parties that want to withdraw from the agreement in writing up to six months it will be automatically extended for a further three years if the.
