Article 1 - The Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Turkey concerning the determination of the legal status of the new Consulate General in Hong Kong through an exchange of notes between the People's Republic of China approved the agreement signed on April 29, 1997 and 8 May 1997 were eligible. Article 2 - This Law shall enter into force on the date of publication. Article 3 - This Law shall be enforced by the Council of Ministers.

China People's Republic of China Mainland agrees to continue the existence of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
2. China Government of the Republic of Turkey Consulate General in Hong Kong also takes note of the matter is conducting the consular affairs in Macao, and after the adoption December 20, 1999 by the China government's jurisdiction executive of the Macao to come into force in the continuation of this mission accepts.
3. People's Republic of China, during the execution of consular duties in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China will provide necessary facilities and assistance to the Republic of Turkey Consulate General in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
4. Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on the activities of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey of 24 April 1963 will be subject to the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations. Consular issues facing in a friendly and understanding on cooperation will be dealt with according to the principles of equality and mutual benefit.
If they are confirmed above points registered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to reply to a note on behalf of the Government of the People's Republic of China, this note and the note in reply of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall constitute an agreement between the two governments.
