Acceptance Date: 28/03/2007

ARTICLE 1, signed on 25 June 2004, "the Republic of Turkey and the Ethiopian Federal Democratic Government of Culture, Education, Science, Basın- Broadcast Agreement on Cooperation in the Youth and Sports" was found appropriate to approve n.

The Republic of Turkey and Ethiopia Federal Democratic Republic Government (will hereinafter referred to as the Contracting Parties), the desire to strengthen the friendly relations existing between their countries, movement, culture, education, science, media, promoting the relations of youth and sports fields and cooperation they have agreed on the following issues between them in order to develop a common knowledge and understanding:
Contracting parties to develop cooperation in the cultural field and will contribute to the realization of a wider publicity about the cultural development of each other. The Contracting Parties to this end:
a) cultural and art institutions operating in this area, and direct contacts between agencies, cooperation, exchange of experiences and developments
b) theater, music, opera, ballet and other artistic areas with the cooperation to facilitate the organization of mutual visits and events
c) the realization of the traditional and contemporary art exhibitions,
d) the music of the various areas of the artists and show groups exchange,
e) cooperation in the field of cinema, filmmakers, and increasing contact between organizations, the
f) the language of each of the respective organizations, cultures, and to do research on the history,
g) related organizations book the participation in trade fairs, periodicals and other scientific documents exchange,
h) other agreements, that the UNESCO conventions and party culture and historical heritage of the care and protection of areas of cooperation,

Article 2 The Contracting Parties shall promote cooperation in the field of education. The Contracting Parties to this end:
a) basic, secondary and realization of cooperation programs between higher education institutions,
b) at all levels of teaching technologies and methods in the field of teachers, academics and experts exchange with educational research and the creation of curricula,
c ) mutual schools, higher education, the establishment of brotherly relations between research and specialized institutions,
d) information to enable the mutual recognition of educational institutions, experiences and all types of document exchange, the
e) international scientific conferences, seminars, etc. symposiums . scientists and experts participation,
f) license in other relevant institutions with institutions of higher education, post-graduate and doctoral education and / or research and short-term language courses, the scholarship exchange for,

Article 3 The Contracting Parties shall also strengthen their cooperation in the fields of theoretical and applied science technology. The Contracting Parties, as for this purpose:

To this end, the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and the Ethiopian Science and Technology Commission, will be encouraged to sign an agreement on scientific and technological cooperation.

Article 4 The Contracting Parties, news agencies and the press, radio and television will promote co-operation between institutions and to be contacted directly.
The Contracting Parties shall promote the exchange of radio and television programs made or published in the country to enhance their knowledge about each other.

Article 5 The Contracting Parties sport the general public and especially among the youth culture of peace, brotherhood and acknowledge the importance of efforts to consolidate the friendship developed cases. Contracting Parties, in this context, cooperation between their respective youth and sports organizations;
A) carry out the exchange of youth organizations representatives and delegations

shall encourage cooperation between their respective youth and sports organizations.

Article 6 The Contracting Parties will participate in an equal number of members from both countries will establish a Turkey-Ethiopia Joint Commission. The Commission will propose the necessary measures for the effective implementation of a better way and doing periodic evaluations on the implementation of this Agreement.

Article 7 The Contracting Parties shall make additional protocol or programs for the implementation of this Agreement.

Changes provided for in Article 8 of this Agreement and activities, in accordance with laws and regulations of the Contracting Parties shall be conducted within the framework of financial possibilities.

Article 9 of this Agreement, upon the recommendation of the Contracting Parties and be replaced by common consent.

Contracting Parties of the implementation of Article 10 of this Agreement or any dispute arising from the interpretation that may arise will be resolved through negotiations between the Contracting Parties will be carried out.

Article 11 of this Agreement, the last notification on the completion of national approval procedures of the Contracting Parties shall enter into force as of the date of receipt through diplomatic channels.
