Ratification of the Convention on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Tax Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and the Protocol on it between Syria and Iraq

Based on the Constitution.

and to what was approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held in the date of 2-12-1430 A.H., 19-11-2009.

The following are issued:

Article 1

The Convention on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Tax Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income signed in Damascus 26-2007 and the Protocol thereto and signed in Baghdad on 22-April 2009 by the Minister of Finance on behalf of the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic and Mr. Minister on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Iraq.

Article 2

This law is published in the Official Journal.

Damascus in 14-12-1430 A.H., and approver, 1-12-2009, my birth.
