Exempting participant debtors with financial resources resulting from the provision of electrical energy

President
Based on the Constitution

and as adopted by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on 1-1-12-143 A.H., 17-10-2012.
The following are issued:

Article (1)

a. The participants in financial debt are exempted from the use of electrical energy through various single-phase contributions-Phase 3-Conversion Centres 20 /4k. /20K Cv. (v) All categories of household consumption-industrial-agricultural-other than full benefits, fines and allowances These are the consequences for the years 2011 and before, if they had to pay off those zmmm until the date of 31-3-2013.
b. The participants mentioned in paragraph (a) shall be exempted from 50 per cent of the benefits, fines and allowances incurred if they pay the reimbursement under an equal monthly payment of a maximum of 24 payments provided that the debtor is committed to the payment programme.
c. In the event that none of those covered in paragraph b/above are committed to the installment and delay programme by the payment of three monthly payments due to be cancelled and action taken to collect the remaining amounts with full interest, fines and allowances shall be made at one instalment.

Article 2

Fines, benefits and allowances paid before the effective date of this Act shall not be returned.

Article 3

The Minister of Electricity shall issue the executive instructions to this Act by decision.

This law is published in the Official Journal.
