Based on the provisions of the Constitution, and as approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held in the history of 168-8-1434 A.H., 24-6-2013, my birth. The following are issued:

Article 1

Add Article 488. Duplicate to Legislative Decree No. 148 of 22-6-1949 The Penal Code is included as follows:

7. Involvement of children in hostilities

Everyone who has recruited a child under the age of 18 to be involved in combat or other related work such as carrying arms, equipment or ammunition, transporting them, planting explosives or use at checkpoints, surveillance, reconnaissance, distraction or use As a human shield or in assisting the perpetrators and serving them in any form or other hostilities, the temporary hard work is punishable by ten to twenty years and a fine of 1 million to 3 million Syrian pounds.

2. The penalty referred to in the preceding paragraph shall be the imposition of hard labour if the act of permanent impairment of the child, sexual abuse, narcotic or any of the psychotropic substances, and the death penalty, if the offence leads to the death of the child, is to be imposed.

Article 2

Article 489 of the Penal Code is amended to read as follows:

1. Who I hate other than his husband with violence or the threat of sexual intercourse has been punished with hard labor.
