Amendments to decrees for pensioners


President

Based on the Constitution

As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held in 239-1421 A.H., 19-11-2000,

The following are issued:

Article 1
Article 5/of Legislative Decree No. 8 /Date 2-10-1995 The digital ceilings of pension and old age are abolished wherever they are contained in laws and regulations in force and are considered Legislative Decree No. 37/Date 26-8-2000 Amended in accordance with the provisions of this article

Article 2
Pensionholders covered by the provisions of article 2 of the Legislative Decree No. 7 of 1994 benefit from the increase granted by Legislative Decree No. 37 /06-8-2000.

Article 3
Sets the maximum pension for holders of positions at 75 %/of the monthly salary specified under article 5 of Legislative Decree No. 188/1962

Article 4
Expenditures arising from the implementation of this Act shall be disbursed from the savings of other sections, branches and general budget revenues of the State and the discretionary budgets of both public institutions and the insurance funds concerned for 2001

Article 5
This law is published in the Official Journal and operates with effect from the date of 1-9-2000.
