Based on the Constitution

As approved by the People's Assembly at its meeting held on 21-10-1426 A.H., 23-11-2005.

The following are issued:

Chapter I

Definitions

Article 1 The strings and phrases below have the proven meanings next to each.

Chara: The protection and discrimination of the Red Cross or Red Cross.

Red Crescent Flag: Helal in red on a white floor heading the crescent to the right of the beholder, and to the left of the holder, the badge of the organization.

Red Cross Flag: It is a red cross on a white floor with four equal ribs, which is internationally recognized and mentioned in the Geneva Conventions.

The arm of the arm: A distinctive protection label consisting of a white ribbon on which the badge is painted, and is fixed on the left arm of the protected person.

The organization: Syrian Arab Red Crescent.

Chapter II

Tag Usage Rules

Article 2 Red Crescent, Red Cross, peacetime, armed conflict, disaster or war are used by:

a. The elements adopted by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Organization, and the organization to put its badge on the means of its health and regular transportation, its property and its publications, and its personnel to carry the badge on the left arm in situations of armed conflict and disasters or war.

b. Members of the armed forces in charge of health services, health transport units and means of land, sea and air, in times of peace, war and armed conflict.

Article 3. Organization of the licence:

a. For civilian medical personnel, hospitals, other medical units and means of transportation for the transportation and treatment of injured, sick and injured persons, such individuals carry a tape on the arm and an identity card issued by the organization with a badge placed on them.

b. For any international organization or national assembly to carry the Red Crescent or Red Cross flag when allowing it to operate on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic in coordination with the competent authorities.

Article 4 The month of association or registration of commercial names, industrial and commercial labels, fees and industrial models that use one of the tags or signs prescribed by this law, its designation, any name, reference, or sign of confusion with any of them shall be prohibited.

Article 5 The organization has assigned elements before it to monitor the use of the badge.

Chapter III

Sanctions

Article 6 shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year and a fine not exceeding 10,000 Syrian pounds or one of these penalties.

a. All those who have been used without a right to the other are authorized by one of the decals provided for in article 1/. 1.

b. Anyone who places one of the flags set forth in the preceding paragraph shall be placed in the titles of shops, posters, advertisements, publicity or any other positions, or sell or promote special goods.

The penalty is doubled if the crime of war or armed conflict is committed.

c. The court rules that the violation provided for in the preceding two paragraphs shall be removed at the expense of the offender and the seizure or destruction of seized objects or any tools used in the commission of such offences.

Article 7 Without prejudice to the application of the most severe penalties stipulated in the other laws, the temporary hard work is punishable by the use or order to use one of the flags provided for in this law during war or armed conflict with the intention of treachery to hold the other party to believe. Article 8 The violators are given a period of 6/6 months to settle their situation with which it begins from the date of publication, and the expiration of such a period applies to the application of the penalties contained therein to those who are in conflict with them.

Chapter IV

General provisions

-Article 9. All texts contrary to the provisions of this Act shall be repealed.

-Article 10. This law is published in the Official Journal.
