Act 1 of 2006 regularization of abandoned goods waiting in the ports, warehouses and General Customs Directorate, the Syrian President on the Constitution and approved by the NPC at its on-20-11-1426 and 21-12-2005-p issued: article/1/provides cargo owners abandoned Syrian ports and depots reserved General Customs Directorate and scuttled one month starting from the day following the issuance of this law to regularize their goods seized or abandoned if no settlement is in customs directorates/Damascus. Latakia. Tartus. Aleppo. Homs/committees to inventory and ending up abandoned goods waiting in the ports and customs warehouses and yard or devolved to the Customs decision of these committees include Finance Minister and representatives from the relevant public authorities.

Article/2/a/these committees shall end the goods described in article 1 of this law, whether by sale, regardless of the economic situation and legal goods or making the right decision about it damage or re-export.

 B/these commissions undertake sale mentioned in this article at auction and enjoy all the powers that satisfy her mission regardless of the legislation and the instructions window.

Article/3/a/the buyer receives the goods free of all customs duties, financial and municipal expenditures and port allowances except draw.

B/met holds sale by secretariats of provincial customs and converted directly by it to the State Treasury after converting a storage port company owed his relationship.

Article 4/committees are accountable to the Minister of finance from other work to accomplish.

Article 5//works of this law as from the date of issue for a year.
