Graduates are prepared in the form of a document and a card (plastic card).
Graduation or changing the State civilian loss, it is not issued new diploma. A duplicate or a facsimile may be requested from the secretariat of the Commission on the medical professions (MEBEKO), section "University education". The duplicate or the facsimile shall be signed by the Director of the FOPH.

Art. Postgrad federal securities Federal postgrade following 2 titles are granted: a. medical practitioner within the meaning of annex 1; b. medical specialist of a domain within the meaning of annex 1; c. doctor dental specialist of a domain within the meaning of annex 2; d. specialist chiropractor of the area within the meaning of annex 3; e. specialist pharmacist of a domain within the meaning of annex 3A.

Postgrad federal securities are signed on behalf of the Confederation by the Director of the FOPH.

Art. 3 issuing diplomas and postgrade federal securities are issued at the date of obtaining them according to civil law reports.

Art. 4 recognition of diplomas and titles postgrade issued by EU or EFTA Member States diplomas and titles foreign postgrade recognized, issued by States members of the EU or EFTA, are determined by: a. Annex III of the agreement of 21 June 1999 on the free movement of persons; b. Appendix III of Annex K to 4 January 1960 Convention establishing the European Free Trade Association.

Graduates are recognized by the Commission of the medical professions, "academic training" section, and securities postgrade by the Commission of the medical professions, section "postgraduate".

Art. 5Banque of the MEBEKO the MEBEKO data enters a data bank of important information to the Federal diplomas, recognized foreign qualifications, titles recognized Postgrad and certificates of equivalence.
The secretariat of the "academic" section of the MEBEKO registers personal data to the Federal diplomas, recognized foreign qualifications or related certificates of equivalence according to art. 36, al. 3, medical: a. name, given name (s), previous name (s); b. date of birth and sex; c. language of correspondence (d) location (s) of origin and nationality (s); e. AHV number; f. identification number for people in medical professions (GLN); g. address, phone number and e-mail address; h. degree federal, date and place of business degree; i. foreign diploma recognized pursuant to art. 15, al. 1, medical, date of establishment of the degree, place and country where the degree was issued, date of recognition of the diploma by the commission of the medical professions; j. certificate of equivalence for diplomas in accordance with art. 36, al. 3, medical, date of establishment, place and country where the degree was issued, date to which the medical professions Board certificate of equivalence.

The secretariat of the 'training postgraduate' section of the MEBEKO records personal data the postgrade federal securities and securities foreign postgrade recognized as well as the associated equivalence certificates referred to in art. 36, al. 3, medical: a. foreign postgraduate title recognized in accordance with art. 21, al. 1, medical, date of establishment of the title, place and country where the title has been issued, date of recognition of the title by the medical professions Board; (b) equivalency certificate for securities postgrade according to art. 36, al. 3, medical, date of establishment, place and country where the postgraduate title has been issued, date to which the medical professions Board certificate of equivalence.

The data referred to in paras. 1 and 2 are put at the disposal of the DFI, for free and as and as, for the purposes of the administration of the register of the academic medical professions according to the art. 51 to 54 medical.
The data referred to in para. 2 are put at the disposal of the competent organization for the GLN allocation by the secretariat of the "academic" section of the MEBEKO.

Art. 11 accreditation of courses of study postgraduate the accreditation body mentioned in art 48, al. 2, medical is the Swiss Agency of accreditation referred to in art. 22 of the Act of September 30, 2011 on the encouragement and coordination of universities.
The application for certification must be filed no later than two years before the end of the period of validity of the accreditation.

As soon as the application for certification is made, the accreditation body conducts the external assessment.
Accreditation decisions, the reports of the experts and those of the accreditation body are made public online by the accreditation body.
The DFI enacts quality standards which specify the criterion for certification within the meaning of art. 25, al. 1, let. b medical in an order.

Section 4 designation and exercise of the profession of art. 12 professional title the Federal diplomas are used in their official statement as the name of the profession of doctor, dentist, pharmacist, chiropractor or vet. Recognized foreign qualifications are, meanwhile, designated according to the description contained in directive 2005/36/EC. They can also be used in the statement and the national language of the country that issued, with the mention of the country of origin.
The Federal Postgrad and postgrade recognized foreign securities are used in names in the following annexes: a. for the profession of doctor: Schedule 1; b. for the profession of dentist: Annex 2; c. for the profession of chiropractor: Annex 3; d. to the profession of pharmacist: Annex 3A.

They can also be used in association with a common synonym, as long as this does not lend to confusion. Recognized foreign postgrade titles can also be used in the statement and in the national language of the country that issued, with the mention of the country of origin.
Graduates and foreign postgraduate securities which have not been recognized according to directive 2005/36/EC may be used to refer to the profession.
The persons referred to in art. 36, al. 3, medical may use their degree and postgraduate title in the statement and in the national language of the country which issued them, if they mention the country of origin and a translation in one of the national languages of the Switzerland joined.
The cantons take the necessary measures.

Art. 13 providers service providers referred to in art. 35, al. 1, medical must produce the following documents: a. a degree recognised in the sense of art. 15 medical, etb. a certificate issued by the competent authority of the country of establishment showing that they legally carry the activities in question in the country.

Doctors and chiropractors who wish to exercise their profession in accordance with para. 1 must also produce a title postgraduate recognized within the meaning of art. 21 medical.

Art. 14 the profession for holders of diplomas and titles the postgrade issued by non-Member States of the EU or EFTA in accordance with art. 36, al. 3, medical, holders of a diploma or title postgraduate issued by a State with which the Switzerland has not concluded mutual recognition agreement can exercise their profession as an independent in the following two cases: a. when it comes to people who teach in a stream of studies of postgraduate accredited and who practice their profession as an independent in the Hospital where they teach; b. when it comes to people who exercise their profession in a cabinet in a region where it is proved that the offer of medical care is inadequate, and that a national language. To prove the equivalence professional and institutional, the persons referred to in art. 36, al. 3, medical present an attestation of equivalence of the MEBEKO for the graduate or postgraduate title to the competent cantonal authority.

The authorization is limited to an activity defined in a hospital or in a specific firm.

Section 5 fees art. 15. fees are laid down in annex 5.
When fees are anticipated, their amount is calculated based on the time spent. The hourly rate is 90 francs at 200 francs according to the function of the person in charge of the case.
In justified cases, the competent authority may demand an appropriate advance on expenses.
The provisions of the General order of 8 September 2004 on the emoluments are applicable, unless the Ordinance provides otherwise.

RS 172.041.1 Section 6 provisions final art. 16 repeal of the law in force the Ordinance of 17 October 2001 on the postgraduate training and the recognition of diplomas and titles postgrade of the medical professions is repealed.

The first intercantonal examination in chiropractic is equivalent, for admission to the postgraduate in the sense of art. 19, al, 1, medical, corresponding federal diploma.

Art. Transitional 18aDispositions the amendment of November 17, 2010 people who began the postgraduate in general medicine or internal medicine before the entry into force of the amendment of this order on November 17, 2010 can complete their training until 31 December 2015 in following postgraduate courses according to the old law or integrate the new sector in general internal medicine. These people get the new title federal postgraduate in general internal medicine.
People having obtained a title federal postgraduate in general medicine or internal medicine before the entry into force of the amendment on November 17, 2010, of this order may either continue to use it, either get the new title federal postgraduate in general internal medicine on request, and without conditions.
Securities Federal postgrade in pharmacy dispensary or hospital can be awarded only after certification of the corresponding postgraduate sector.
People who have obtained, before the creation of securities postgrade Federal Pharmacy dispensary or hospital, a private, law postgraduate title may use the name of pharmacist specialist pharmacy dispensary or hospital.
