The General Council of the Riksbank provides under Chapter 5. 1 §
Act (1988:1385) om Sveriges riksbank to commemorative coins on two
thousand and two hundred dollars shall be released and that the coins should
have the following size, shape and appearance.
§ 1 in respect of the Royal Castle in Stockholm, 250-year
anniversary, commemorative coins with nominal values of two thousand and
two hundred dollars is released.
section 2 of the commemorative coin with a face value of two thousand
must be made of an alloy consisting of 900 thousandths
Gold, 50 silver and 50 copper thousandths and thousandths
weight of 12 grams and a diameter of 26 mm. Deviation from the
nominal weight, when weighing one hundred coins be
no more than 12 ounces.
paragraph 3 of the commemorative coin with a face value of two thousand
shall have the following hot stamping.
On the front of the Royal Palace, with the years 1754-2004
the Castle, and as can be seen in a clockwise direction "Royal • CASTLE •
STOCKHOLM "and below" 250 YEARS "surrounded by to the left" E "
Enter myntningsorten and on the right ' H ' which is
the initial letter of the Governor's last name.
On the reverse is depicted a detail from the Stockholm map with old
town of focus where the Royal Palace is marked with Ensign.
Over the map image is two keys. On the left side of the map image
It says "2000" and underneath that "CROWNS".
The edge must be smooth.
4 section commemorative coin with a face value of two hundred dollars
must be made of an alloy consisting of 925 parts per thousand
Silver and 75 parts per thousand copper and have a weight of 27.03 grams
and a diameter of 36 mm. Deviation from the nominal weight
in weighing one hundred coins be up to 27 grams.
§ 5 commemorative coin with a face value of two hundred dollars
shall have the following character.
On the front of the Royal Palace, with the years 1754-2004
the Castle, and as can be seen in a clockwise direction "Royal • CASTLE •
STOCKHOLM "and below" 250 YEARS "surrounded by to the left" E "
