1 §/expires U: 2016-02-01/Moderna Museet's task is to collect, preserve, display, and

pass on the 20th and 21st century art in all its forms.

The authority shall ensure that its activities should be a concern for all people in society.

2 § the museums shall in their field



1. bring to life the art and its links with both the society's

development and older art forms,



2. push for artistic and cultural renewal;



3. promote the art science and understanding and interest in

the art of our time,



4. nurture, listing, scientifically process and by

new acquisitions to enrich the Agency's collection,



5. make the collection available to the public, organize

exhibitions and conducting educational activities as well as

lending and deposit business,



6. scientific process the other collections of art that

belong to or supported by the State,



7. promote increased knowledge based on research and collaboration

with others, such as universities and colleges, and convey

knowledge in its field of activity, and



8. develop its position as a leading institution.

4 § the museums shall report information on their

Fees
