1 §/expires U: 2016-02-01/national maritime museums is responsible for state museums with

maritime orientation. The authority is tasked to preserve and

develop the maritime cultural heritage and build awareness of

it.



The authority includes the Maritime Museum, naval museum and

Vasa Museum.

2 § the museums shall in particular



1. caring, list, scientific process and by

new acquisitions enriching the collections entrusted to the

authority,



2. keep a selection of the collections available for

the public and operate and support the exhibition program and

other educational activities,



3. provide information, advice and other assistance to regional and

local museums and support non-profit maritimhistoriskt work,



4. promote the conservation and management of cultural history

5. promote increased knowledge based on research and collaboration

with others, such as universities and colleges, and convey

Fees
