Electricity Act (1997:857) on electrical safety in case of electrical

installations and equipment intended to be connected to

such plants.

Additional rules for electrical safety, see

elinstallatörsförordningen (1990:806) and in regulation

(1993:1068) where electrical equipment.

Definitions

paragraph 2 of this regulation,

power plant: an electric plant for such

voltage, current or frequency that can be dangerous for

people or property,

device: electrical equipment where electricity is used, and who is

intended to be connected to a power plant,

the low-voltage installation: electrical installations

power plants,

low voltage: rated voltage up to and including 1 000 volts

AC or up to 1 500 volts DC,

and

high voltage: nominal voltage of 1000 volts AC

or over 1 500 v DC power.

paragraph 3 of the power plants are classified into this regulation in

installations for high voltage and low voltage distribution.

Obligations

Basic obligations

4 § the holder of a power plant or device should be

continuously check that the installation or device provides

by collateral against personal injury or property damage.

§ 5 the owner of a power plant or device should be

the system or device is done in such a way and

performed by, or under the direction of, people with as

Dana knowledge and skills to obtain adequate safeguards are provided against

personal injury or property damage.

Notifications

section 6 of The intending to build a power plant for a

voltage not exceeding 1 000 volts between phase conductors, for consultation on

appropriate security measures shall notify the holder of a

such existing power plant referred to in Chapter 9. paragraph 3 of the

Electricity Act (1997:857).

section 7 of The intending to take a contact line for rail,

tram, Metro or trolleybus operation in use shall notify

this to the electrical safety authority.

(1997:857) or a power plant for rail,

tram, Metro or trolleybus operation shall, without delay,

to the Swedish National Electrical Safety Board report

1. accident at its own power plant, which occurred

due to electricity and serious incidents to such accidents,

and

2. operational disruptions in the private power plant that can

have substantial importance for electrical safety.

§ 9 The who intends to begin work on drawing up a

heavy duty within an area for maritime traffic shall notify

this to the Swedish Maritime Administration. When work is completed, management's

holders to notify the Maritime Administration how management finally

have been placed.

AOC

section 10 A high-tension wire, which is part of a direktjordad

facility where single phase errors can occur

Earth's tilt power with greater strength than 500 amperes, may not

put into use before the Swedish National Electrical Safety Board gave permission to the

(AOC). A driftillstånd may be communicated only if

the facility provides adequate security against personal or

property damage.

An AOC may be restricted to for some time.

The operating licence in accordance with the first paragraph is not necessary if the

high-voltage power line is a contact line for railway operations.

Starkströmsledningar in the area with detailed plan

section 11 If an air line for the strong current has been drawn up with the support

of the network licence in a field and a detailed plan adopted for

area, is management's owners following a decision by the

Electrical safety authority is obliged to take the changes of management

required from the electrical safety point of view, taking into account

the area's settlement.

12 § if in one area there is a air management for weak current

and a low voltage overhead line and a detailed plan adopted for

the area, is the low-voltage wire holders upon decision of the

Electrical safety authority is obliged to take the changes of management

required from the electrical safety point of view.

Starkströmsledningar in areas of traffic

section 13, An air line for strong current should be placed as and have such

nature that it cannot cause or hindrances to

traffic because of electricity or the management's position, if the

being built

1. in the area of an existing or planned public road

or a private road that is kept open for traffic,

2. within or next to the area of the rail, or

3. in an area adjacent to an airport.

A direction referred to in the first subparagraph 3 may, however, never

be placed closer than 4 000 metres from the reference point has

determined for an airport of the who has set up the airport.

section 14 of The air management for strong currents or to strong current

in water, which is being built in an area of maritime traffic, to be placed

so and have such that it can not cause risk or

obstacles to traffic because of electricity or managerial position.

Supervision

section 15 of the National Electrical Safety Board is the supervisory authority under Chapter 12. 1 §

first para el Act (1997:857) when it comes to questions about

power facility or device for rail, tram,

Metro or trolleybus operation to notify in writing

to the electrical safety authority or to notify the authority when a

such a facility is completed,

existing or planned public road, for which a work plan

has been issued, or approved, or a single path

remains open for traffic may be pulled forward and on specific

protection measures for such lines,
