section 1 of the Swedish Research Council for environment, agricultural sciences and

spatial planning (Formas) mission is to promote and

support basic research and applied research in

the fields of the environment, agricultural sciences and spatial planning. The

research supported must be of the highest scientific quality

and of relevance to the Council's responsibilities. Shaped also receive

Fund development activities to a limited extent.



2 § within the framework of the task set out in article 1 shall be formed

especially



1. allocate funds for research and related activities

with research such as project funding, software, jobs, support

to young researchers and co-financed research,



2. evaluate the research and Development Council

allocated funds to and in the evaluation specifically assess

the quality, relevance and commercialisation for society even

in an international perspective,



3. investigate and analyse the research needs that are

eager in a research and societal perspectives, recognise

the results of these investigations and analyses as well as take

to initiate and support strategic research and

development,



4. take account of research ethics;



5. utilize the research results and promote sustainable

development of society,



6. initiate and support transdisciplinary research,



7. promote and initiate national and

international research collaboration and exchange of experience,



8. participate in and encourage Swedish participation in

collaborative research in the European Union's activities in the

research and technological development, as well as other international

research programmes,



9. work to ensure that a gender perspective is reflected in

the research,



10. promote equality between women and men,



11. promote and initiate scientific publishing,

and



12. be responsible for the communication of research and

research and popularization of the research

funded by the Council.

3 § Shaped is led by a head of Government.



Organization



4 § Formed, together with the Swedish Research Council,

§ 9 In Shaped is a Principal Secretary with high

Resource allocation

A decision by the Graduate Council to grant funds may refer to:

a maximum of six years. and should be subject to conditions for funds

use. The decision shall indicate who are the recipients

of the funds and that the receiver is responsible for ensuring that the funds are used

in accordance with the conditions imposed.



If the activity that received funding does not meet the requirements,

the Research Council may decide that the medium is no longer to be paid

out. An indication of this should be taken into Council decision to

grant funds.

section 11 of the head of Council shall, after consultation with the scientific and

the authorities who administer the funds allocated by the Council,

decide



1. the information to be submitted upon application for funds,



2. terms and conditions for disposition and accounting of funds, and



3. on the obligation of the recipient to be formed shall submit a

description of the activities for which the funds relate.

to apply.
