paragraph 1 of this regulation are regulations on how

storage room in jails and police arrested shall be designed and

be equipped.



section 2 a storage room shall have a floor area of at least 6

square meters. The room's cubic content should be at least 15

cubic and minimum room height 2.40 metres. The room should be

fitted with window so that it gets enough natural light.



The room should be adequately soundproofed and otherwise

designed so that unauthorized contacts between the prisoner and

standard drawings and technical advice for the construction and

improvement of detention facilities and police arrested.

Prison Services supervises jails and

Police arrested as are provided in connection with custody.

The police authority supervises other police arrested.



Swedish prison and probation service and the police authority must notify the closer

rules for the application of this regulation in respect of their

respective regulatory areas.



§ 5/entry into force: 04/01/2016

A storage room in a police custody may derogate from the requirements of section 2 of the first paragraph on floor space and ceiling height, with a maximum cubic content 5%.



If there are special reasons with respect to temporary needs, get a storage room in a police custody not used permanently even deviate from the requirements of section 2 of the room shall be fitted with Windows and that the room should be designed so that unauthorized contacts between the prisoner and the other if possible. Transitional provisions



2016:84



1. this Regulation shall enter into force on 1 april 2016.



2. The new section 5 applies only to storage rooms that are completed before the entry into force.
