section 1 of the Swedish consumer Agency is the competent authority and supervision
of railway undertakings, ticket vendors,
station managers, tour operators, carriers,
travel agents, terminal operators and port authorities fulfil
their respective obligations under the
1. articles 4 to 6, 8, 9, 11, 13-20, 22(1), 22.3-24 and 27-29 in
European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) no 1371/2007 of the
on 23 February 2007 on rights and obligations for
rail passengers (train passenger Regulation),
2. articles 4 to 13, 15(4) to 20 and 22 to 24 in the European Parliament
and Council Regulation (EC) No 1177/2010 of 24 november
2010 concerning the rights of passengers when travelling by sea and
inland waterway and amending Regulation (EC) no
2006/2004 (ship passenger Regulation), and
3. articles 4-6, 8-11, 13-15, 17 (3), 19 to 21 and 23 to 27 in
European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 181/2011 by
the rights of passengers
bus and coach transport and amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004
(bus passenger Regulation).
Consumer Agency may announce details relating to the
obligations referred to in the first subparagraph.

supervision of railway undertakings, ticket vendors,
station managers, infrastructure managers, carriers
and terminal operators to fulfil their respective obligations
According to
1. articles 10.1, 10.2, 10.4, 12.1, 21 and 26 of the
train passenger regulation,
2. Article 14 of the regulation, and passenger ships
3. Article 16(1) of bus passenger regulation.
Transportation Board may announce details relating to the
obligations referred to in the first subparagraph.
paragraph 3 of the Transport Board may provide for fees
for supervision under the train, ship and
bus passenger regulations.
