section 1 of the Swedish Institute's mission is to disseminate
information and knowledge about Sweden and the Swedish language in the
the rest of the world and to promote collaboration and long-term relationships with
other countries in the fields of culture, education and research
and democracy, as well as society in General. The Authority's
activities aimed at increasing international interest and
confidence in Sweden, increase collaboration in Sweden's immediate environs
and promoting a democratic, just and sustainable global
development.
2 § the museums shall, in particular,
1. track, analyze and promote Sweden image abroad,
2. support the teaching of Swedish at the college level in other
countries and be responsible for the overall coordination of the

Collaboration
5 § the museums shall

Financial aid donations
section 6 grants and other financial assistance may, subject to availability

Management

Organization

The head of
section 11 of the Director-General is the head of Government.
Staff disciplinary board
section 12 at the Agency, there shall be a
staff disciplinary board.
Applicability of certain regulations
13 § the museums shall apply the staff representatives Ordinance
(1987:1101).
Fees
section 14 of the Agency may collect charges for activities under
paragraph 3, and may determine the fees.
Appeal
section 15 of the Agency's decisions on the allocation of grants
or other financial assistance may not be appealed.
