General provisions



section 1 of this regulation contains provisions relating to a

experimentation with distance education in elementary school,

undergraduate programs, special school, Sami school, upper secondary school and

upper secondary school for pupils with learning disabilities.

4 § the purpose of the experiment is to get a basis as

gives good opportunities to evaluate distance education in

more topics than those laid down in Chapter 5(a). section 2, first paragraph

school regulation (2011:185) and 4 (a). section 2, first paragraph

secondary Regulation (2010:2039).



Conditions for participating in the experiment



§ 5 a principal may apply to participate in the experiment

with one or more school units. Application for participation,

be made at two different application occasions. The application submitted to the

Statens skolverk, which decides on skolenheters participation in

the experiment.



Participation may be granted if the principal can ensure

the quality of distance learning. Participation may be denied if

a sufficient number of school units have been granted participation for

that the purpose of the experiment is to be achieved.



The National Agency for education should endeavour to school units in the various

the school forms part of the experiment based on the needs

available to carry out distance education. The National Agency for education

shall also strive for a geographical spread of participation

school units.



Distance education in all subjects



6 § skolenhet participating in the experiment may organize

distance education in all subjects under the conditions

specified in 5 a Cape. 3 and 4 of § school regulation (2011:185)

and 4 a Cape. 3 and 4 of the secondary regulation

(2010:2039). Distance education may only be a

smaller part of the instruction that the student receives in their

training.



Follow-up and evaluation



section 7 of The principals involved in the experiment are required

to participate in the monitoring and evaluation of

the experiment.



Authorization



paragraph 8 of the State's school may provide the regulations needed

for the enforcement of this regulation.



Appeal



section 9 of the State's skolverks decision pursuant to this Regulation shall not

subject to appeal.



Transitional provisions



2015:481



1. this Regulation shall enter into force on August 5, 2015.



2. Regulation expires at the end of June 2018.
