Government Announces pursuant to article 2 of the Act (2006:806) If sampling of animals, etc. to the following provisions of the EU regulations are supplemented by the provisions of the law on animal testing, etc.



The basic regulations in its entirety is supplemented by the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.



1. Council Regulation (EC) No 21/2004 of 17 december 2003 establishing a system for the identification and registration of ovine and caprine animals and amending Regulation (EC) No 1782/2003 and directives 92/102/EEC and 64/432/EEC.

2. Commission Regulation (EC) No 206/2009 of 5 February 2009 on the importation for personal use into the community of products of animal origin and amending Regulation (EC) No 136/2004.



Because regulations are supplemented by the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc. in the parts they contain provisions that fall within the scope of the law



3. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 1760/2000 of 17 July 2000 establishing a system for the identification and registration of bovine animals and regarding the labelling of beef and beef products and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 820/97.



4. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 882/2004 of 29 april 2004 on official controls performed to ensure the verification of compliance with feed and food law, animal health and animal welfare rules.

5. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 999/2001 of 22 May 2001 laying down rules for the prevention, control and eradication of certain transmissible spongiform encephalopathies, as regards the



– Article 6, except in so far as it relates to the measures after testing carried out at the slaughterhouse as regards health marking and retention in anticipation of negative test results, and



– Article 20.



6. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 of 29 april 2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs, with regard to



– part A, paragraph 4 (h) in annex I, in the case of diseases that fall within the scope of the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.,



– part A, point 7 of the annex I, as regards such information falls within the scope of the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc., and



– part A, point 8 (b) of Annex i.



7. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of 29 april 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin, as regards



– section I, chapter I, point 2 of annex III, in the case of diseases that fall within the scope of the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.,



– section II, chapter I, point 2 of annex III, in the case of diseases that fall within the scope of the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.,



— section IX, chapter I, points 1 and 2 of annex III, and



— section IX, chapter I, point 5, of annex III, in the case of diseases that fall within the scope of the law on animal testing, etc.



8. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 854/2004 of 29 april 2004 laying down specific rules for the organisation of official controls on products of animal origin intended for human consumption, with respect to



– Article 4, concerning such information falls within the scope of the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.,



– Article 5(1)(f), in the case of such sampling falling within the scope of the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.,



– section I, chapter II, (F), paragraph 1 of Annex i, and



-Chapter I, paragraphs 1 and 2 of annex IV.



9. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) no 470/2009 of 6 May 2009 laying down Community procedures for the establishment of residue limits of pharmacologically active substances in foodstuffs of animal origin, repealing Council Regulation (EEC) No 2377/90 and amending Directive 2001/82/EC of the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 726/2004, as regards the



– Article 16, and



– Article 24 1.

11. the Commission's implementing Regulation (EU) No 2015/262 of 17 February 2015, laying down rules, in accordance with Council Directive 90/427/EEC and directive 2009/156/EC as regards methods for the identification of equidae (Passport Regulation), except in the case of



– Article 9(2) and (3).
