Government Announces pursuant to article 2 of the Act (2006:806) If sampling of animals, etc. to the following provisions of the EU regulations are supplemented by the provisions of the law on animal testing, etc.



The basic regulations in its entirety is supplemented by the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.



1. Council Regulation (EC) No 21/2004 of 17 december 2003 establishing a system for the identification and registration of ovine and caprine animals and amending Regulation (EC) No 1782/2003 and directives 92/102/EEC and 64/432/EEC.

2. Commission Regulation (EC) No 206/2009 of 5 February 2009 on the importation for personal use into the community of products of animal origin and amending Regulation (EC) No 136/2004.



Because regulations are supplemented by the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc. in the parts they contain provisions that fall within the scope of the law



3. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 1760/2000 of 17 July 2000 establishing a system for the identification and registration of bovine animals and regarding the labelling of beef and beef products and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 820/97.



4. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 882/2004 of 29 april 2004 on official controls performed to ensure the verification of compliance with feed and food law, animal health and animal welfare rules.



Because regulations are supplemented by the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc. in the parts listed in the following

7. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 853/2004 of 29 april 2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin, as regards



– section I, chapter I, point 2 of annex III, in the case of diseases that fall within the scope of the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.,



– section II, chapter I, point 2 of annex III, in the case of diseases that fall within the scope of the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.,



— section IX, chapter I, points 1 and 2 of annex III, and



— section IX, chapter I, point 5, of annex III, in the case of diseases that fall within the scope of the law on animal testing, etc.



8. European Parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No 854/2004 of 29 april 2004 laying down specific rules for the organisation of official controls on products of animal origin intended for human consumption, with respect to



– Article 4, concerning such information falls within the scope of the law on the collection of samples of animals, etc.,

– Article 9(2) and (3).
