By Royal Decree 168/2008 of 8 February 2008, the economic promotion zone of the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha is defined, in accordance with Articles 3.2 and 5 of the Regulation on regional incentives, for the development of Law 50/1985 of 27 December, approved by Royal Decree 899/2007 of 6 July.

This royal decree was amended by Royal Decree 311/2015 of 24 April to adapt its content to the European Commission's guidelines on state aid for regional purposes for 2014-2020 (2013/C 209/01), and to the Spanish regional aid map for 2014-2020 (SA.38472 (2014/N) -Spain).

By Decision of the European Commission of 7 November 2016 (SA.46099 (2016/N) -Spain), this Map has been amended for the period 2017-2020. This amendment represents an increase of the maximum percentages of regional aid which may be granted in the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha during the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2020, and implies the abolition of certain limits on the granting of regional aid to large undertakings currently provided for in Article 8 (2) of Royal Decree 168/2008 of 8 February 2008.

Prior to the knowledge of the Government's Delegation for Economic Affairs, the actions of the Rector Council of Regional Incentives and the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha, provided for in the Regulation, have been fulfilled. of the regional incentives for the development of Law 50/1985 of 27 December.

In its virtue, on the proposal of the Minister of Finance and Civil Service and after deliberation of the Council of Ministers at its meeting on December 30, 2016,

Royal Decree 168/2008 of 8 February, defining the economic promotion zone of the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha, is hereby amended as follows:

One. Article 2 (1) is worded as follows:

" 1. The regional incentives which may be granted in that area may not exceed the maximum rate on the approved investment of 25% for large enterprises, 35% for medium-sized enterprises and 45% for small firms. companies. In the case of projects with an approved investment exceeding EUR 50 million, this maximum percentage shall be set in accordance with the provisions of the major investment projects in the guidelines on State aid for regional purposes. for 2014-2020. '

Two. Article 8 (2) shall be deleted. Paragraph 3 of that Article becomes paragraph 2.

Single transient disposition. Requests in fulfillment.

Requests for regional incentives which are pending at the time of the entry into force of this royal decree will be resolved in accordance with the provisions of the legislation resulting from it, except for on the maximum ceiling for aid, for which the percentages set out in Royal Decree 311/2015 of 24 April 2015 will apply.

Single end disposition. Entry into effect.

This royal decree will enter into force on January 1, 2017.
