Order FOM/1252/2003, of 21 May, for which the construction of the Airport of the Region of Murcia is authorized, is declared of general interest of the State and is determined the mode of management of its services, qualifies the cited Airport as of general interest, considering that, inter alia, the condition laid down in the first article of Royal Decree 2858/1981 of 27 November 1981 on the qualification of civil airports is met, so that it complies with the requirements for international traffic. Likewise, the indicated Order attributes the ownership of this Airport to the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
Later, by Order of the Department of Public Works and Regional Planning of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia dated July 24, 2009, it was designated as Airport Manager of the Airport to the Society Concessionaire del Aeropuerto de Murcia S.A.
The Department of Public Works and Town Planning together with the Dealership Society cited have come to request the Customs and Excise Department of the State Tax Administration Agency. the enabling of the International Airport of the Region of Murcia for the performance of the functions of a customs office, taking into account the Protocol signed on 16 November 2011 between the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Public Works to lay the foundations for the development of civil aviation in the Autonomous Community of Region of Murcia, which provides for civil air traffic to be carried out exclusively through the aforementioned airport, replacing the one that is being made through the airport of the San Javier Air Base.
examined such a request and taking into account that it does not imply the creation of an organic unit of any kind, in use of the delegation conferred by the Resolution of 24 June 1999 of the Presidency of the State Agency Tax administration for the clearance of customs offices, I have:
Single item. Enabling the customs precinct of the International Airport of the Region of Murcia.
The customs precinct of the International Airport of the Region of Murcia, dependent on the Provincial Dependence of Customs and Excise of Murcia of the Special Delegation of the Tax Agency in Murcia is enabled.
Single additional disposition. No increase in public expenditure.
The implementation of the provisions of this Resolution will not imply increased spending on the budget of the State Tax Administration Agency.
Single end disposition. Entry into force.
This Resolution shall enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of the State.
