By Order Culth/382/2009 of 17 February, the "Velázquez" Prize of the Plastic Arts was regulated, an international award that prizes the totality of the work of a creator in the field of the plastic arts, in any of its manifestations. The first paragraph of Article 6 of the Order of 17 February 2009, of 17 February 2009, establishing the regulatory basis for the 'Velázquez' Prize for Plastic Arts, is worded as follows:
