Royal Decree 1027/1993, of 25 June, which regulates the educational action abroad ("Official State Gazette" of 6 August), provides that the Spanish Language and Culture Groups are the structures Member of the Spanish Administration for the Integration of Language and Culture Classrooms established by the Spanish Administration for the provision of complementary Spanish Language and Culture lessons for Spaniards who wish to do so, currently being regulated by Order EDU/3122/2010 of 23 November ("Official State Gazette" of 3 December).

By Order of October 1, 1987 ("Official State Gazette" of October 10), the Spanish Language and Culture Pools of Zurich and St. Gallen were created in Switzerland, among others.

In the Spanish Language and Culture Grouping of St. Gallen, there has been a decrease in the number of students and teachers, with no prospects for an increase in the number of students in their classrooms. In these circumstances, the integration of this Grouping into that of Zurich is considered advisable, which would allow for a better organization of its activities, optimizing human and material resources, without any detriment to the public interest and schooling of pupils in the classrooms of which they are dependent.

This Order is issued pursuant to Article 38.2 of Royal Decree 1027/1993 of 25 June, which regulates educational action abroad, in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and once again. consulted, in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of Order EDU/3122/2010 of 23 November 2010, the Council of Spanish Residents of Bern, the only body existing in the Helvetic Confederation of those provided for in that provision.

In its virtue, I have:

First.

The Spanish Language and Culture Grouping of St. Gallen is deleted from 1 July 2012.

Second.

The Department of Education in Switzerland will adopt the necessary measures for the integration into the Spanish Language and Culture Grouping in Zurich of the Spanish Language and Culture Classrooms until now existing in the referred to in the first section of this Order.
