Key Benefits:
In compliance with the provisions on the annual review of the census, in Article 4.3 and 4.4 (e) of Order AAA/1505/2014 of 31 July 2014, governing the bottom trawling fishery, in the waters of sub-area IX of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea subject to the sovereignty or jurisdiction of Portugal;
Taking into account, in addition, those articles of the same Order governing the transmission of fishing opportunities between bottom trawlers in the waters of ICES sub-area IX subject to sovereignty or jurisdiction of Portugal,
This General Secretariat of Fisheries, hearing the sector concerned, resolves:
First.
Publish as Annex I of this Resolution, census of the bottom trawl fleet, which has the right to fish during 2015 in waters of sub-zone IX of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea under sovereignty or jurisdiction of Portugal, provided that all the requirements laid down in Order AAA/1505/2014, with particular attention to Article 4.4b), are met, indicating that only the vessels of the census of Annex I to the Electronic Journal on Board They will be able to make use of their fishing opportunities, as well as transfer or transmit the same on a temporary or final basis.
Together with the name of the fishing vessel and association to which it belongs, the fishing opportunities and effort coefficient are indicated, at 31 December 2014, for each species spread with its corresponding stock, which are listed in that Annex.
Second.
Publish as Annex II the number of vessels, fishing possibilities and effort coefficient per zone, of each association.
Third.
This Resolution will produce effects from January 1, 2015.
