Law 62/2003, of 30 December on fiscal, administrative and social order, in its article 102, amended article 81 of the law 42/1994 of 30 December on fiscal, administrative and social order, giving a new terminology relating to the commemorative coins and collection, in accordance with the terminology used in the provisions and normative European.

In the new wording of the quoted article 81 set, inter alia, that, as of January 2004, are referred to as coins in collection euro, euro coins not intended for circulation, usually in precious metals, with a nominal value and different to those aimed at circulation design. These coins should differ significantly from the circulated in, at least two of the three following characteristics: colour, weight and diameter.

In the same provision is authorized in General to the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre-real Casa de la Moneda, coining and sell coins of all kinds. The issue and sale of these coins will be agreed by order of the Ministry of economy and competitiveness which, in accordance with the European provisions, shall determine the characteristics of the coins, their face values and initial dates of issue and, where applicable, retail prices.

Article 5 of the Regulation (EU) number 651/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 July 2012, relative to the issuance of euro coins, regulates the issuance of collector coins.

Article 3.1. to) and 3.1. m) of Royal Decree 345/2012, 10 February, (which develops the basic organizational structure of the Ministry of economy and competitiveness and amending the Royal Decree 1887 / 2011, of 30 December, which establishes the basic organizational structure of ministries), in the new wording given by the second article paragraph three of the Real Decree 672 2014, of 1 August, (by amending the Royal Decree 1887 / 2011, of 30 December, which establishes the basic organizational structure of the ministerial departments and the Royal Decree 345/2012, of 10 February, which develops the basic organizational structure of the Ministry of economy and competitiveness and amending the Royal Decree 1887 / 2011) (, of 30 December, which establishes the basic organizational structure of ministries), attributed to the General Directorate of the Treasury and financial policy, in addition to the powers vested in the existing legislation, and, among others, those of minting of currency and the representation in the European Subcommittee of currencies («Eurocoin Subcommittee").

The third series of coins called "Treasures of Spanish museums", which reproduces emblematic pieces from the museums of our country is issued.

By virtue, I have: article 1. Issuance agreement.

Article 2. Characteristics of the parts.

400 euro coin's face value (8 escudos, gold of 999 thousandths).

Tolerance in law: minimum of 999 thousandths.

Weight: 27.0 g with a tolerance of more or less than 0.27 g.

Diameter: 38 mm.

Shape: Circular with a fluted edge.

Quality: Proof.

Weight: 168,75 g with a tolerance of more or less than 1 g.

Diameter: 73 mm.

Shape: Circular with plain edge.

Quality: Proof.

Article 3. Maximum number of parts.
The maximum number of pieces that are binding for each of the denominations will be provided below: name value facial parts maximum number 8 shields 400 euro 2,000 Cincuentín 50 euro 4,000 8 reales 10 euro 7,500 8 reales 10 euro 7,500 8 reales 10 euro 7,500 authorizing the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre-real Casa de la Moneda to allocate funds Numismatic Museum of this entity up to a maximum of five parts of each of the coins minted under this ministerial order and, where appropriate, those industrial elements of its manufacturing by the characteristics of the emission, are Museum or Numismatic interest.

Article 4. Initial date of issue.

The initial date of issue will take place during the second semester of the year 2015.

Article 5. Mintage and circulation.

Such coins are coined on behalf of the State in the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre-real Casa de la Moneda, which will deliver them to the Bank of Spain through the contribution of the representative of the coins documents.

The Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre-real Casa de la Moneda will proceed to the payment of the face value of these coins, which will be paid to the public Treasury, and once acquired, proceed on the market using the process outlined below.

Article 6. Marketing process.

The Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre-real Casa de la Moneda will proceed to the commercialization of these coins, collections, alone, by itself or through entities hired to effect, which shall undertake to dispense them to the public on a regular basis, as well as to export.

Article 7. Prices for sale to the public.

Initial selling prices to the public, VAT excluded, of each of the pieces, will be those expressed below: denomination face value price initial sale to the public (excluding VAT) 8 shields 400 euro 1,340 euros Cincuentín 50 euro 250 euros 8 reales 10 euro 45 euros 8 reales 10 euro 45 euros 8 reales 10 euro 45 euros, these parts may be sold individually or form collections in which case the price will be the sum of the individual prices of the pieces that form them.

In the event that, once in effect this provision, the official exchange rates of the relevant markets to precious metals used in their production and coinage, they were experiencing fluctuations above four per cent of the arithmetic mean of the daily quotes of the month prior to such entry into force, modifying the values of used metals and, therefore, the initial retail prices established the General Directorate of the Treasury and financial policy, in accordance with such quotes may revise initial prices of these currencies, upward or downward, following a report of the Bank of Spain and the Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre-real Casa de la Moneda.

Article 8. Measures for the implementation of this order.

The General Directorate of the Treasury and financial policy will adopt measures that are accurate for the implementation of this order.

Sole final provision. Effects.

This order will produce effects from the day following its publication in the "Official Gazette".
