TEXT

The creation of an Honorary Consular Office of Spain in the region of Carinthia (Austria) is justified by the need to provide effective and rapid assistance to the Spanish colony resident and registered in that region.

Therefore, on the initiative of the Directorate General of the Foreign Service, in accordance with the proposal made by the Embassy of Spain in Vienna, with the favorable report of the Spanish Directorate General of Foreign Affairs and Consular and Migration Affairs and the Secretariat of State for the European Union, I have had to arrange:

First.

An Honorary Consular Office is created in the region of Carinthia (Austria), based in Launsdorf, with jurisdiction in the region of Carinthia, with a category of Honorary Consulate and dependent on the Embassy of Spain in Vienna.

Second.

The Head of the Honorary Consular Office of Spain in Carinthia (Austria) shall have, in accordance with Article 9 of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 24 April 1963, the category of Honorary Consul.

Madrid, 10 April 2015.-The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, José Manuel García-Margallo y Marfil.
