State Museums are institutions that preserve and disseminate the historical heritage of all Spaniards, and contribute to ensuring the effective exercise of the right of access to culture in Article 44 of the Treaty. Spanish Constitution.

More than five years after the approval of the Order of 29 January 2009, of 29 January 2009, which regulates the visit to museums attached to and managed by the Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of the Arts Performance and Music, it is necessary to update the legislation in this area to adapt to the changes that have taken place in this period, and to comply with the provisions of Directive 2006 /123/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, on services in the internal market and the Spanish national legislation transposing the Directive such Services Directive.

In order to promote the contemplation and enjoyment of the historical heritage preserved by the State Museums, this order keeps the price of entry to the museums. The changes incorporated make reference to the suppression of the extinct National Museum of Artistic Reproductions, the inclusion of the current denomination of the National Museum of Sculpture, the incorporation of the telematic sale of tickets, the updating of the free movement regime (which is extended to all citizens, regardless of nationality or place of residence) and the strengthening of measures to promote the visit to museums.

Consequently, in accordance with Article 26 of Law 8/1989, of 13 April, of Public Fees and Prices, and in Articles 21 and 22 of the Regulation of the Museums of State Entitlement and of the Spanish System of Museums, Available:

Article 1. Object.

This ministerial order is intended to regulate the public visit to the state owned museums assigned and managed by the General Directorate of Fine Arts and Cultural Property and Archives and Libraries and by the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music.

Article 2. Scope.

This ministerial order will apply to the following state-owned museums:

a) National Archaeological Museum (Madrid).

b) Museo Cerralbo (Madrid).

c) Museum of America (Madrid).

d) Museo Casa de Cervantes (Valladolid).

e) Museum of the Greco (Toledo).

f) Museum of the Traje, Center for Research of Ethnological Heritage (Madrid).

g) National Museum of Anthropology (Madrid).

h) National Museum of Subaquatic Archaeology (Cartagena).

i) National Museum of Roman Art (Merida).

j) National Museum of Decorative Arts (Madrid).

k) Museo Nacional de Cerámica y de las Artes Suntuarias "González Martí" (Valencia).

l) National Museum and Research Center of Altamira (Santillana del Mar).

m) National Museum of Sculpture (Valladolid).

n) National Museum of Romanticism (Madrid).

o) Sefardi Museum (Toledo).

p) Sorolla Museum (Madrid).

q) Theatre Museum (Almagro).

Article 3. Price of the entry.

1. The general entry price for the visit to the permanent exhibition for each of the museums referred to in Article 2 shall be EUR 3 per day.

2. Ticket sales will be held at museum lockers. It may also be carried out by means of telematic systems or other channels in those museums which have this service, and where appropriate, the price of entry shall be increased with the costs incurred by this management.

3. Access to the complementary services of museums, such as library, documentation centers, shop, cafeteria, or others of similar character, will be free without prejudice to due control.

4. The entry to temporary exposures shall be free of charge.

However, where appropriate, an entry price may be established for the visit to temporary exposures and access to other cultural activities, which shall be determined in each case.

In the event that access to the temporary exposure cannot be made independent, the general conditions of the permanent exposure must be met.

Article 4. Group visit.

1. The status of cultural or educational group visits is granted to those visits that are made up of 8 or more people. The maximum number of people who can integrate a group will be determined by the direction of each museum according to its capacity.

2. The request for a visit to the person responsible for the museum will be required, at least 15 days in advance.

Article 5. Visit on a free basis.

1. The entry shall be free of charge for the persons listed below, upon accreditation with the at-box office presentation of the relevant, valid and updated official document, in each case:

(a) Under 18 years of age and over 65 years.

b) Students between 18 and 25 years.

c) Young carnet holders.

d) Persons with disabilities, in accordance with the definition made in Article 2.a) of the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2013 of 29 November, approving the recast of the General Law on the Rights of Persons with disability and its social inclusion. The museum will also be able to access the museum free of charge for the person who, if any, will accompany you to make the visit.

e) Persons in legal status of unemployment.

f) Pensioners.

g) Members of large families, as defined by Article 2 of Law 40/2003 of 18 November, of Protection of the Families of Numerous Families.

h) Members of the following entities:

1. The corresponding museum board.

2. Association of Friends or Foundation of the corresponding museum.

3. º APME (Professional Association of Museologists of Spain).

4. º ANAPOS (Spanish Federation of Associations of Archivists, Librarians, Archaeologists, Museologists and Documentalists).

5. º AEM (Spanish Association of Museologists).

6. º FEAM (Spanish Federation of Associations of Friends of Museums).

7. ICOM (International Council of Museums).

8. º Hispania Nostra.

i) Personnel serving in the Directorate General of Fine Arts and Cultural Property and Archives and Libraries and in the museums referred to in Article 2 of this ministerial order, as well as in the National Museum of Prado and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.

j) Teaching staff, as set out in Article 104 of Organic Law 2/2006, of 3 May, of Education.

k) Official Tourism Guides, in the exercise of their duties.

l) Journalists, in the exercise of their duties.

m) Donors of cultural goods, in the museum to which the cultural goods object of the donation have been attached, upon presentation of the corresponding accreditation.

n) Persons who perform cultural volunteer work in the museum in which they develop their activity, upon presentation of the corresponding accreditation.

2. The days of free public visitation for all visitors will be:

a) At least four days a month, one per week. By resolution of the Director General of Fine Arts and Cultural Property and Archives and Libraries and the Director General of the National Institute of the Performing Arts and Music, the day or, where appropriate, the days of the week in which the entrance of the museums is free.

b) On November 16 (World Heritage Day), on May 18 (International Museum Day), on October 12 (Spain's National Festival Day) and December 6 (Spanish Constitution Day).

c) Other possible celebrations of interest to museums, prior to authorization by resolution of the Director General of Fine Arts and Cultural Property and Archives and Libraries and the Director General of the National Institute of The Performing Arts and Music.

Article 6. Visit with reduced entry.

A 50% reduction in the price of entry to museums will apply to people belonging to the collectives that are listed below:

(a) Members of groups as defined in Article 4 of this order.

(b) Persons who perform cultural volunteering prior to the presentation of the appropriate accreditation.

Article 7. Measures to promote visits to museums.

1. The annual access card for the public view is set to a single museum, with the following conditions:

a) Your price will be 25 euros.

(b) The period of validity of this card shall be one year from the date of issue of the card.

c) It will be issued by the museum itself, at the request of the interested parties. The application shall be accompanied by a photocopy of the national identity document or the corresponding supporting document.

d) The annual card will be personal and non-transferable, incorporating the following data:

1. Museum for which the public visit, responsible for their expedition, is permitted.

2. º Name and last name of the holder.

3. º Number of the national identity document or the corresponding supporting document.

4. Period of validity.

2. The "Museum of the City" is established, which will allow you to visit the museums located in the same city.

a) Abono "Eight Museums of the city of Madrid", with a validity of fifteen days and a price of 16 euros, to visit the following museums without limit of number of visits.

1. National Archaeological Museum.

2. Cerralbo Museum.

3. Museum of America.

4. Museum of the Traje, Center for Research of Ethnological Heritage.

5. National Museum of Anthropology.

6. National Museum of Decorative Arts.

7. National Museum of Romanticism.

8. Sorolla Museum.

b) Abono "Four Museums of the City of Madrid", with a validity of ten days and a price of 8 euros, to visit four museums of those mentioned in paragraph a).

c) Abono "Museums of Toledo": with a validity of five days and a price of 5 euros to visit the following museums without limit of number of visits:

1. Sefardi Museum.

2. Museum of the Greco.

d) Abono "Museums of Valladolid": with a validity of five days and a price of 5 euros to visit the following museums without limit of number of visits:

1. National Museum of Sculpture.

2. Casa de Cervantes Museum.

3. These fertilizers may be purchased in any of the museums in which the same is valid.

4. By means of collaboration agreement, it may be agreed with other institutions to create cultural routes that include previously mentioned entries and credits and access to other museums not covered by this order.

Article 8. Other promotion measures and promotional campaigns.

By Resolution of the competent Director General (Director General of Fine Arts, Cultural and Archives and Libraries or Director General of the National Institute of the Performing Arts and Music) the reduction in the entry price or free access in the following cases:

a) Campaigns of cultural, social or tourist promotion.

b) Conventions of collaboration with third parties of sponsorship, promotion of public visit or for the participation or inclusion of state museums in cultural itineraries or tourist promotion cards.

c) Extraordinary and effective activities.

Likewise, by resolution of the aforementioned Directors-General, measures can be established to make the holders of the annual access card loyalty.

Article 9. Special authorities.

1. By Resolution of the General Directorate of Fine Arts, Cultural and Archives and Libraries or the Director General of the National Institute of the Performing Arts and Music, it will be possible to establish gratuitousness for those benefactors, groups and professional groups whose visit, due to their relevance and links with the museums, may be in the interests of these institutions or in which circumstances may be present. The system of visits to museums which are attached to them may also be amended where, for any circumstances, it is deemed necessary.

2. Museum directors may, on a specific basis, authorize free or reduced-price admission to persons, associations, undertakings, institutions or professional groups or other collectives who so request for professional reasons, study, research, or other.

Single additional disposition.

The price of entry, exemptions, gratuity or discount in museums attached to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport that are managed by the Autonomous Communities under the corresponding management agreement, will be fixed by these.

Single transient disposition.

In the entries acquired in advance of the entry into force of this order, the price applied at the time of the purchase of the same shall be respected.

Single repeal provision.

1. The Order of 29 January 2009 of 29 January 2009 is hereby repealed and regulates the public visit to the State-owned museums attached to and managed by the Ministry of Culture and the National Institute of Performing Arts and Music.

2. The third paragraph of point IV of the Order of the Ministry of Culture of 20 January 1995 concerning the joint access card for museums managed directly by the Directorate-General for Fine Arts and Goods shall remain in force. Cultural and Archives and Libraries, the National Prado Museum and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.

Single end disposition. Entry into force.

This order will take effect on June 16, 2015.
