In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 10.2.b) of Law 10/1990, of 15 October, of the Sport, the Commission of the Council of the High Sports Council of 27 April 2015, has approved definitely the modification of article 2, of the Statutes of the Royal Spanish Federation of Esgrima, authorizing their registration in the Register of Sports Associations.

In compliance with the provisions of article 31.7 of the Law of Sport and article 12.3 of Royal Decree 1835/1991 of 20 December, on Spanish sports federations and the Register of Sports Associations, I have the publication of the amendment of the Statutes of the Royal Spanish Federation of Esgrima, contained in the Annex to this resolution.

Statutes of the Royal Spanish Federation of Esgrima

Article 2.

It is up to the RFEE to develop all the sports specialties determined by the International Federation of Esgrima (FIE): Sword, Florete and saber, as well as: To promote, manage and organize any other activity related to fencing, provided that it does not contradict the rules and regulations of the FIE. It also corresponds to the RFEE, as its own activity: The government, management, administration, regulation and organization of fencing. In its virtue, it is proper to the RFEE to grant to sportsmen, with exclusive and exclusive character, degrees and levels of knowledge of the sport of fencing, provided that they are not in opposition with the norms that already exist in the FIE, and without prejudice to the powers which may be conferred on the Autonomous Federations in this field.
